OK. I'm back! Let's do this!!

After our rendezvous through the Avenue of the Giants, we went up to Ferndale, the cuuutest little Victorian town you'll ever see. Apparently, they filmed some of The Majestic there. It's no Ace Ventura, so...whatever.

Jacket: Hinge c/o thredUP | Nursing cami: Target - $26 (similar) ...that I accidentally left at our hotel :(:(:( | Jeans: skinnied Levi's - $70 | Flats: Hush Puppies - $70 | Total = $166

While doing research for our trip, we kept seeing the Samoa Cookhouse pop up so naturally we made the extra drive for FOOD. They serve lumberjack-style. Don't worry, I had to Google it too.. It means they serve the one food they make for that meal with all sides and it's ALL YOU CAN EAT. Don't let that fool you... The only good thing about it was the bread. Mmmm, carbs...

For our last night, we stayed in a teeny tiny town of 300 people called Petrolia, but it felt more like 5. It took us 2 hours to travel 30 miles of windy roads with scenic foggy pastures and cows and a gorgeous coastal drive. I felt like we were in the UK! I mean, what I'm assuming is the UK. Okay, FINE. What I've seen in movies that has greatly influenced my perception of the UK.

Staring contest!!
So maybe we've never seen cows before........

I mean, RIGHT?!?!?

We stayed at the cutest little guest inn. It felt like we were staying at a friend's grandparents' house! Okay, now I'm done. If you made it through both posts....

  1. I made it through BOTH posts AND I actually enjoyed both of them! ;) It looks like your cute little family had a great time in Humboldt County!

And at least you knew that those were cows... a friend of mine saw cows like that and exclaimed "Horses!" because she didn't realize cows can come in a color besides black and white spotted. :D

  2. I absolutely loved both ur roadtrippin posts! Your son is too too precious :)

  3. i LOVE that picture of Grey sitting at the table surrounded by the food! SO cute!

ahh, Northern California. Infinite possibilities of road trippin' and exploration AND weather that is totally not summer-appropriate! looks like a great trip!

    perfectly priya
