She tried labor for a whole day, and got all the way to 9cm, before they decided they needed to do an emergency c-section. And it turned out he was also a hefty 9lbs 1oz! Yay for chunky babies!!

I read your birthing story. Fun fact: I have a double cervix. My doctor says natural delivery would be possible, but very painful. I can imagine going through something similar to you. Not that I have to worry about this yet, since I'm nowhere near being pregnant. Still, your story will stick with me in the back of my mind for a long, long time.
