Most of the outfit posts you've seen lately were a few weeks late. NOW I'm finally on track! This was what I wore yesterday to church. There was a two-week break where Chase and I didn't see each other so I didn't have anyone to take pictures of my outfits. Lame, I know.. But this is Chase's last week until he comes home to me and does the dishes that have been piling up!!!
I got this tweed jacket (among many other clothes) from an unni right when I found out I was pregnant and this is the first time I've busted it out. I had a hard time styling it since it felt too preppy and grandma but I still liked it so I kept it this whole time...and especially since they reminded me of the Chanel tweed jackets. I decided to go all out classy and paired it with a "not so L" BD and pearls. The flower was a last minute addition to keep the jacket from flying open every time I moved.
For more inspiration on how to wear Chanel-like jackets, check out this post by The Glitter Guide. I plan on reverting to it once I fit into my pre-preg clothes!
this is adorable. potentially my favorite maternity look so far although you've had so many adorable ones!! :)
ReplyDeleteYou are BEAUTIFUL:)
ReplyDeleteI am crossing my fingers that I can still be an attractive prego woman like you one day :) You are beautiful!
ReplyDeleteI wore a lot of jackets during pregnancy too. Good way to dress the bump.
ReplyDeleteyou look stunning elaine! i was about to buy a similar maxi dress from Gap yesterday but it was $60 (on sale!) - so glad to have found a similar version for much cheaper!
ReplyDeletep.s. when is your due date? Mine is Feb. 4th :-)
Thanks! Yes, I definitely recommend this dress! Super comfy. You'll have to get a size smaller because they are pretty roomy. My due date is Feb 10!!! So close!!! Congrats!!!! :)
DeleteHow roomy is it? I normally wear an xs or s and am pretty stinkin petite. (5'3" 105lbs pre-pregnancy) Would a small be too big for me? P.S. I loathe maternity clothes shopping with a firey passion.
DeleteOh, it may be big for you then... I got an XS and it fits perfectly. I usually wear S. You'd have to get a XXS if you wanted it to fit right but their smallest size online is S. :/
Deleteyour hair! so much longer than i thought http://www.thismomsgonnasnap.com
ReplyDeleteCan't believe you are 32 weeks. I think you look great. Your hair is gorgeous long. You look so tiny too.

DeleteReally cute way to style a tweed jacket - I think Coco would approve. ;)
ReplyDeleteI have a dark tweed jacket that I haven't worn much, but maybe a flower pin is what it needs. Going to turn one of the fabric flowers I've been DIYing for Christmas gift toppers into a pin! :)
Aww! You look soo pretty xo
