black geometric necklace c/o Very Jane; Shade Clothing striped shirt, $16 (similar); Shade Clothing maternity t-shirt, $8 (similar); Forever 21 pants, $14 (similar); Target clog sandals (similar)

Not liking the harem-pant-look I'm getting from these pants.. If I hike it up any higher, Baby will protest and angrily kick all day so I had to low-ride them. Already, Baby = 1, Elaine = 0.....

I've been really into layering t-shirts since most of my shirts are too short. I liked seeing the looseness of the t-shirt under the shorter "fitted" shirt...though I don't have any more "fitted" shirts...so...there's that..

Anyway, I wore this a couple weekends ago when Chase and I met up with a reader/fellow baby mama and her adorable family. She offered to donate some clothes and toys to us!!! It was so nice to meet up with her and chat about all things baby-related, especially since she and her husband are more experienced than us! More importantly, they had a MASSAGE CHAIR. I could've sat there forever...

  3. I agree the harem-style-pant-look aren't making you as fabulous as usual, but the rest of the outfit is great. And who cares what your pants look like when you have such a pretty face? I felt like my face BALLOOOOOONED when I was pregnant.

Layering is definitely helpful when you have to get your shirts to cover your belly!

  9. I am a granny, but I have three daughters and four granddaughters, so I am always looking at young fashion. I am also still a college professor and even tho I am not young, my students like to look at pretty clothes on their teachers, so I love your fashion ideas. With a few tweaks I can make them age appropriate for me. You are adorable, baby bump and all, and your fashion ideas are precious. Of course it helps that everything you put on looks lovely on you.
