motorcycle jacket c/o Collection B (similar); thrifted white t-shirt, $5 (similar); Forever 21 black pencil skirt, $6; Vince Camuto heels, $76 (size 10)
This was the other skirt I got with my yellow one I showed you here. YES. It has taken me over a month to wear it.. It seemed too businessy for my casual office dress code so I reserved it for church, but then I'd constantly be stumped on how to wear it. I didn't want it to look like I was on a way to a meeting so I tried to make it edgy with a motorcycle jacket and t-shirt. Pink lips also helped where I lacked in accessorizing.

Also, the forum is looking pretty lonely.. If you've got a question about fashion, beauty, modesty, anything really, let us know!

I don't think it is too bussinessy at all! With the color block and jacket, it looks really fun and cute. Great outfit!
ReplyDeleteLove this outfit!! And I couldn't even see your cute bump from the front! :P
ReplyDeleteI love it!
ReplyDeleteI love it, I don't think it's business-y at all. It's chic. Just pair it with a cute tee and wedges and it'll look super cute!
ReplyDeleteI think you did a great job styling the skirt!

When I first saw this I thought, "Why is Elaine posting a pre-pregnancy picture?" You look so good! The black color blocking does wonders.
ReplyDeleteIf you want to make that skirt more casual, you could also try pairing it with a floaty kaftan/ kimono-style top (or even a baggy/ chunky sweater, when it gets cold)? :)
ReplyDeleteI love the sweater idea!! Thank you!!! :)
DeleteThis is a great outfit! I love the color blocked skirt! If you get a sec, I'd love to hear you thoughts on my latest post. xo
