20 Weeks: Seeing Double

Monday, October 15, 2012

thrifted American Eagle denim jacket, $5 (similar); JCPenney brooch (similar); Target t-shirt, $7 (similar); drawstring pants via sample sale, $1 (similar); nude flats c/o Wanted Shoes

First of all, I want to address the one raised pant leg in all the pictures. It's a new style starting NOW...at least that's what I keep telling myself. Like an old man, I have to hike my pants up a little to get in a car; sometimes a pant leg likes its new length and sometimes it wants one of my legs to be more modest. To each pant leg his own.

These were taken up in Sacramento when my husband and I took a little impromptu trip a couple weeks ago as evidenced by these disgusting road trip snacks.

Also, this outfit was inspired by these outfits from HATCH. I WANT FALL TO BE HERE SO I CAN PRETEND I'M ONE OF THE HATCH MODELS!!!!!!!!! Seriously, is that so much to ask? :(

  2. :) That's funny! (although I don't think I would've noticed if you hadn't pointed it out! ;)

Cute outfit! I'm very impressed you've maintained your sense of fashion through pregnancy! I'm not sure I could!

  3. I love your outfit & think you look adorable pregnant, but I've gotta say, it looks like that second Hatch model is wearing an adult diaper. You're much better off.

  4. I feel the same way! Mother Nature hates us all...first its cold, then it's hot again after I've already packed up everything but my boots! Make up your mind!

  7. Ann Taylor Loft (online) had a bunch of maternity clothes for 50% off the clearance price, in case you like their style. I could never afford their regular prices, but $15-ish dollars for something isn't too bad.

  9. The outfits look awesome for a stylish pregnant lady. I love the idea that you wish to welcome your child with fashionable touch, rather than opting for the classic maternity wear range. It is great and very inspiring.
