So, remember when I told you guys to buy this striped shirt? It's finally here! I ordered it in my usual size (small) and it was roomier than usual. If there are some who didn't buy it yet, get it in a size smaller. With the horizontal stripes, I don't think you'd want it to be bigger... You know...illusions? Mine shrunk a bit in the wash -- only length-wise, not the width. I wish I had gotten a smaller size and I don't want to buy the exact same shirt right now so I'll just find ways to make this work. Probably with low-slung bottoms that rest on my hips. I tried the whole cinching-at-the-waist and it looked too poufy on top.. :/ ANYWAY, I still like how this turned out!
Have any of you bought it and worn it yet? What do you think of this shirt?

ReplyDeleteToo cute. I wish I could wear stripes like that; I love them. You've got the petite frame for it. My ample chest just makes me look hefty in stripes :(
ReplyDeleteYou could probably slim the sides easily with a sewing machine! The sleeves would be trickier but at least with the side-slimming you won't get the poofiness when you tuck it in :)

ReplyDeleteI bought it and wore it a couple times already. I especially love that I don't have to wear a tank top under it and it's pretty comfy.
