Ladies...(and gents?) Say hello to my newly permed hair!!! It doesn't look quite as curly anymore. My hair is so virgin the first perm came out within a month. So I got another one. And in another month I'll probably have to get it done again. I think the universe is telling me I'll never have curly hair... Blasted Asian genes! Well, it was fun for the two days it was curly..
I took note from my Pinspiration post for this outfit. One down, 7 to go! I can do it!!!
Also, I really like how I tied my belt... I used my own belt-tying method but had a lot of belt left over just hanging...having a party... so I did it to the other side too. I love the criss cross action going on. I think it'll only work with skinny belts.. but try it out and let me know.
Elaine, your naturally straight East Asian hair is object of desire and envy all over the world. Girl - embrace it! ;)

why don't you try pin curls or sleeping in soft rollers? if you don't brush them out, and don't wash your hair, the curls should stay for about 3 days. or at least, mine usually do. my hair used to be really really straight and fine, but when i hit about 20 the texture really changed. i got a perm 16 months ago and it's still going pretty strong. but i used to sleep in soft rollers all the time. it's not glamorous, but it did give me curls.
ReplyDeleteand i didn't risk burning off all my hair with a curling iron :)
Cool braid. I really like how you did that & redid this look!

I had super-straight hair my whole life till I started having kids. With each of my 5 kids, it got curlier and curlier. Maybe this is your solution? :)
