Did you guys watch General Conference this past weekend? What was your favorite? I loved the Saturday afternoon session. Probably because I was awake by then...
I thought I'd try a middle part again. Just....no. Never again. Side part from now on for this girl.. Anyway.... I saw a pin on Pinterest of a girl with a black polka dot shirt and red pants and tried to replicate. And now I can't find it.. (Boo.) I liked this outfit with the mix of colors, pop of print, and the added fur for texture. I'm also proud of myself that I DIDN'T belt it no matter how much the fashion blogger in me wanted to!! #patontheback
Also, I am selling this skirt here! There is a slight bleached stain on the front. I've been planning on redying it red but I don't think I'll ever get around to it. I made it a couple years ago. It could be worth millions in the future. Millions, you guys.

That is a great idea, the black and white polka dots with a red skirt. I think I'll give this a whirl this week!

Yes we watched conference...loved Pres. Uchtdorf's talk on sunday morning!! (btw, your blog is awesome, I'm 50-something and too round to wear most of it, but I still get great ideas.)
ReplyDeleteAwesome really love the red and polka-dots. One for the steal!

A very lovely look Elaine and kind of not what you usually go towards (though I like those looks too very much). I adore the polka dots, the faux fur stole and that great skirt! I'm sure it will be worth millions one day!
ReplyDeleteThanks for noticing!! Ever since that whole blazer thing, I've been trying to get out of my comfort zone again...slowly, but surely!!
ReplyDeleteloving that skirt and top combo!
ReplyDeleteThe red skirt and black polka dot top look so sophisticated! :)
ReplyDeleteI'm a side-part girl too. I don't know if I'm just used to seeing myself with a side-part, but whenever I try parting my hair down the center I hate it. BUT I love the way it looks on other people (which is why I try it every few months).
ReplyDeletethat is such a great skirt! i like how versatile it is!
ReplyDeletevery pretty=)
ReplyDeleteamazng !!!
ReplyDeleteI can't do middle parts either....I think it works better on angular faces.
ReplyDeleteI thought GC was great as well. I especially loved the quote about asking someone who is drowning if they need help....duh. Have a great rest of the week!
