JCPenney brooch (similar); leopard print scarf via eBay, $8 (similar); yellow cardigan, swapped from Meredith (similar); thrifted skirt, $3; Fitzwell flats, $76
I swapped this sweater from Meredith a while ago but L.A. doesn't know what sweaters are so by the end of the day, it was drenched in sweat. (Probably from my awesome ping pong skills.) Srsly, so cute! For the color combo, I was inspired by this look from Zara. I figured I'll never wear leopard print shorts (Never say never?) so I subbed it for my scarf instead.
And if your scarf is missing something, add a brooch! or a flower!

That looks suuper cute. Absolutely love the color combination as well <3
ReplyDeleteAhh, to be soaked in sweat...: ) No, I don't really like the super warm weather! I like it about 60 deg. Anything above that I burn!

ReplyDeleteI was just telling a friend yesterday that sweater + skirt is my favourite winter outfit combo. You've done it beautifully here, and I love the scarf+broach addition!

Favorite. Outfit. Ever. Sorry you were sweating your tush off. I'd invite you to Colorado, but we are all sweating over here too. The high today is 50 after all and to us, that's haaaaaaawt.
ReplyDeleteIt'd be great if you'd do a post on how your permy hair is working out. I'm always curious to hear how Asian hair types take to the chemicals/if it works.
ReplyDeleteThanks.
I love that leopard print scarf!
ReplyDeleteyou rocked it. sweat and all. :)
ReplyDeleteThe brooch is a great touch. Kind of has an old-Hollywood-glam feel to it. Except I think ladies back then didn't sweat, they just got dewy ... :)
ReplyDeleteLove this outfit, you look great in yellow.
ReplyDeleteI'm a total scarf girl. Scarf all the way!

I always forget about brooches. (By the way, I SERIOUSLY hate how that word is spelled! It's just not right.) They add instant glam to any outfit!! I'll have to peruse some thrift stores for some shiny ones! Or maybe just my grandma's dressing table!!
ReplyDeletesuch a sweet look! love the leopard scarf!
ReplyDeleteYou look soooo CUTE.
ReplyDeleteI wish we had LA weather - want to swap?
