Went for all darks here with black, gray, and brown. I am loving these pants! I can't get enough of 'em. And, yes, let's talk about my hair.. :) What? I was having a good hair day. YEAH, I SAID IT.

Striped comfy pants - love them! Somehow I can never get my good-hair days to happen on the same day I need to take blog photos ... which is part of the reason why I usually crop my head off ...
About 5 years ago I was in Peru and those type of pants were all the rage among the backpacker/hostel crowd. They sold them all over markets in S. America for cheap, all colors. I have a pair of blue ones...they are soooooo comfy.
Hey, Elaine...my neice (Jamee Lee Raymond) was right. You have a great blog! Your sense of style rocks, and your husband's photos are awesome. Loved reading about your "typical day" as well as browsing a few of your everyday posts, and read through your tips for blogging as well (this all came up because Jamee and I were talking about the quirky blog idea I'm working up, and she suggested I look at yours to see what a good blog looks like, even though mine's about as far from a fashion blog as you can get!). Keep doing what you love; you're great at it.
I've been searching for those shoes at Target since they've appeared on your blog. Dang it. And yes, I agree with flaunting your hair all that you want when it looks good. =)
I seriously can't get enough of the fur collar. I've been on the lookout for one for a while, but haven't quite found the style/size I want or want to pay for. But I just thought of something: I have a winter coat that has some removable fur trim on the hood. I think I'll unbutton that and give it a go! It seems to be the perfect length and width I'm hoping for! That'd be so convenient if it worked!!!
