I think it's about time for the 3rd annual Q&A. This time it'll be open to current contributors as well! This is your opportunity to ask whatever you want about us, about the blog, so you can get to know us better. SO! If you have a question, ask away in the comments below. Please make sure to specify who the question is for!

Recap of current contributors:

We'll try and get the answers up in the next week or so!! Have a good weekend! XOf;alksdj;fakldf

  1. These are for you Elaine: Do you ever get grief for putting your religious views out there on the blog, obviously in relation to the way you dress, and wanting to be modest?
    Who takes your pictures?
And if you ever get cruel or mean spirited comments, how do you deal with them?

  2. For you Elaine:
First of all, I want to tell you that I really enjoy reading your blog! Even though our religion, culture and even our views on modesty differs, I truly enjoy reading your thoughts! So to my Q:Is it possible to become a "contributor" to the blog? Does one have to be a modest fashion blogger? Or a personal friend? I´m not a blogger, but I would definitely call myself a wanting-to-be-a modest fashionista. I´m currently staying in Jerusalem, Israel, where modesty is a BIG deal (to say the least).I´m an aspiring photographer and writer, so maybe, if I write a piece on modesty for Clothed Much it would be something you´d like to feature?
I thought since you seem to be looking for opportunities to feature different views on modesty and fashion, from different people with different backgrounds, maybe this might be something of interest for the readers of Clothed Much.

I´m a 19 year old from Sweden, where modesty is for the most part completely unheard of, and I grew up with two cultures due to the fact that my mother is romanian/hungarian. About 4 years ago I was introduced to modesty, and ever since it has been my quest to balance modesty with fashion, and even more so these past few months.
If you want to know more about me, please email me!

    Blessings,
    Sofia Miryam

  4. For Elaine:
How do you skinny your jeans? I can NEVER find a pair of skinny jeans that fit. :P
    Thank you!

  5. Hello and interesting post! I partially grew up in an area where there are Mormons, but never paid attention to the culture or religion. I was catholic and in my culture modesty is not so much practiced. When I converted to Islam, I really discovered what modesty meant and not just in the clothes but in our character and actions. One thing that was hard and is a struggle sometimes are our guidelines. Does your religion have modest guidelines a member must follow? Curious.

    Love,

    Sadeel

  7. Kristine is a master of mixing patterns, and Melissa is so great at mixing different colors. I know they've both done posts on those topics before but I'd love to hear more! I also wish I could be more adventurous with pattern mixing but I'm afraid I will look crazy, while Kristine always looks so cute and creative and put-together! Also - Elaine & Melissa have both written about having small or "minimalist" closets, I'd love to learn more about how you decide how many of what type of clothing to keep, how you decide when you need something new, etc.

  8. Hi Elaine... I would like to know if you were raised in a Mormon family and you were always in relationship with God or if you started your love story with Him later on in your life. :)
