Necklace:  secondhand, consignment store, $5
Shirt:  thrifted, Gap, $6
Jeans:  Gap Outlet, $26
Shoes:  Target, $8
Purse:  thrifted, vintage, $5

I've done denim on denim plenty of times on da blog (1, 2, 3, 4) and off. I haven't tried it with boyfriend jeans though until now. I've tested it out before but the fit of the shirt is looser* than I desired paired with boyfriend jeans so I scrapped the idea. I must've forgotten about the loose-on-loose* problem because I was totally fine wearing this and didn't mind the looseness* of both items together. I actually liked it! Isn't it weird? You don't like how something looks/fits one day but later you love it?

I paired this denim ensemble with a gold choker necklace and brown strappy heels to dress it up a bit. I think I'm ready for a cocktail party. Someone invite me!

Also, anybody else lovin' my I "pretzel" philly bag? Now I'm craving a pretzel. It has to be from a dirty shopping cart in a questionable neighborhood. And then you have to dip it in cherry or lemon Rita's. It's the ultimate Philly experience. ..I miss the east. :(

*For your reference:  Loose v. lose.

Now I want a pretzel too.  With cheese, of course.

I'm really into these shoes. $8? Really? REALLY?! They are something along the lines of Beyonce meets safari - who ever knew the two would meet? (Keep in mind, this is a major compliment.)
