Can I just pretend to be a graceful ballerina for one day? Because I'm the least graceful person in the world, says my mom and the scars on my knees.
I loved wearing this. All black? YES. I kept it simple with no jewelry to let my sparkly headband speak for itself. It may have been too simple but all black is never too simple. It's classic.

Confession: I hate headbands. I used to wear them 24/7 when I was little so I associate it with being a little girl. I may have watched too many episodes of Gossip Girl because I'm slowly leaning towards them... If you're in a rush, put your hair up in a loose, messy bun and wear a headband to keep the extra hair out of your face and you're all set. Like I said...EASY, right??
LOVE this. Can I use one of your pictures in an inspiration post for my upcoming challenge? I'll credit and link back to you, of course!
ReplyDeleteNice one. I like how you wore the head band to brighten up an all-black outfit. Very cute!

I adore this outfit, you look fantastic!
ReplyDeleteI've always sort of shied away from all black (too many orchestra performances, maybe?), but I seriously love this. So classy!

lace, etc.
Sure! Thanks for asking!
ReplyDeleteLooks great! Love the headband! Growing out my fringe into one I can wear up or on the side in hopes of being able to do my hair differently. Love buns and headbands!
ReplyDeleteso cute! the headband is a nice touch. :)
ReplyDeleteLovely. I love the simplicity of it, and yet the understated elegance at the same time. Well done!
ReplyDeleteyou are too cute! & i say that in a non-little girl way :) letting one piece of your outfit shine is what I'm all about!
ReplyDeleteVery classy! I don't care for headbands either. They always hurt my head....but maybe my head is too big. Cheers for all black!!!

It's good to see your pretty face and style more often around here. :) I was starting to wonder what happened to you!
ReplyDeleteI'm here! I'm here! :)
ReplyDeleteI looove this outfit! And I almost always wear a headband, but a black one you can barely see, haha

Cute "ballerina" outfit! I don't like headbands that are plastic, I'll occasionally wear fabric or something soft, though they usually give me headaches.

Classic outfit! I enjoy the simplicity of it. Love the skirt - I didn't see it when I stopped by F21 lately. Although, the power went out when I was browsing, so I probably missed LOTS of cute stuff. : p
ReplyDeleteBTW, just posted an outfit inspired by you ... http://petalbypetal11.blogspot.com/2012/01/little-victories-hint-of-mustard.html. Thanks for the inspiration! :)
YAY! I'm glad you're still around, Elaine! xo

This is, like, the perfect teacher outfit for me. It's just so cold right now that I think I'll have to add a pair of black opaque tights!

You look so pretty - Just like a graceful ballerina :) I wear alice bands every once in while, mostly when I'm wearing a plain outfit to make it a little more dressy !
ReplyDeleteLove this look! it seems perfect for a day of errands (especially if you're running places with people you don't want to look awful in front of) or even for shopping- the simplicity/no-fuss style seems perfect for changing in and out of clothes or rushing to the best sales rack.
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely love this outfit! Whenever my hair isn't behaving, up in a bun with a headband it goes...I always consider myself a figure skater, but ballerina works too.
ReplyDeleteI love wearing black shirts and black skirts and it looking like a black dress...It's awesome :)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful outfit-love the headband!
I'm digging the all black look. Very simple and pretty! <3
ReplyDeleteThis is gorgeous. Love it!
ReplyDeleteLOVE the skirt!
ReplyDeleteYes! Figure skater.
ReplyDeleteTotally!
ReplyDeleteThank you! Graceful is not the adjective my family and friends would describe me as, ha ha. And I'm definitely getting more into headbands.. Need more!
ReplyDeleteBlack on black on black on black. :D
ReplyDeleteI got it two Christmases ago.. And you were in a F21 when the power was out? Wha???
ReplyDeleteThank you!
ReplyDeleteBeen there.. No fun! Don't give in and trim your bangs!!!
