UPDATE 9:53 PM PST: I ended up wearing the outfit below after finding these images online. I also wore this jacket but didn't take a pic with it. I was pretty happy with how this turned out considering I hate athletic sneakers as regular attire. This may have changed my mind...but only if I can buy new kicks.

I really hate wearing sneakers too. Which sucks because I walk a lot. Plus I only ever wear skirts and dresses and well... those don't really jive with sneakers. Your outfit is cute though, looks comfy!
With skirts and dresses, you could wear lighter/thinner fashion sneakers like Converse!
