Jacket: c/o Collection B
T-shirt: thrifted, $5
Jeans: Gap Outlet, $26
Flats: Target, $25

One of my birthday presents to myself was online shopping. BIG DEAL. But I hate online shopping for clothes. I am rather picky with fit so I always end up returning everything. NOT THESE BABIES (shoes). Loafers are hot this season and for $20 it can't get better than that! Unless Target had leopard print ones. ALREADY SOLD. Do you own any loafers? What do you think of this trend?

I've been looking for a pair of loafers over the last few weeks and I love these! It's my favorite color! How is the sizing? I can't decide to order a 7 or 7.5.

I love the loafer trend!! I just bought a mustard pair from Chinese Laundry! They are my new favorite flat!

I am used to heels so I feel really short without them. Actually I AM really short so I feel like I belong at the kids table with flats. But I love them, especially with jeans!

Aw, Elaine...you look so cute! I have been on the fence about the loafer trend, but you make it look adorbs. Love how bright they are!

Those shoes are FAB and so is that jacket! I don't have any loafers. There's a super wildly rad print loafer on Shoe Mint for winter, but I don't know if I can commit to the splurge!

I passed on the pink ones I saw at Target this weekend, but seeing your outfit convinced me to go back and get them!

I really like them! I've been seeing them around a lot lately, so I decided to get the same ones from Target, but in black. I like that they are still a functional flat but just a little different to add some flavor. :)

I remember seeing those loafers over the summer in camel and was going to buy them and never thought they would become so trendy.  And if they had leopard ones (!!) I would totally snatch them up!  I love the color of yours though.  How are they in terms of comfort?

Elaine said...

They're not comfortable at all! I bought them just to see if I'd like the trend and I do! I need to start hunting for a comfortable and more durable pair than these. These are pretty cheap in quality.

I liked the pink ones too! I wish they had more in the suedey type.

Sizing was pretty accurate for me. You can always get two in both sizes just in case. ;)

I was *just* looking at those on the target website!! So cute!! But sucks to hear they're not that comfy. Thats my #1 priority these days. Im becoming my mom.

Several pair, actually. My favorite being my Polo Ralph Lauren cordovan penny loafers. Thrifted for about seven bucks, original price was nearly eight HUNDRED.

I feel compelled to say that I love your hair in this post.  For some reason that is a flattering look for you.  And I love the color of the loafers.

Elaine said...

Thank you, Diane! I'm gonna seem stupid here but for a long time I had my hair parted in the middle, then on the side which ended up being the most flattering. Then for some reason I went back to parting it in the middle. I thought I gained face weight but it turns out I've been parting my hair wrong the whole time. See? Stupid.
