I've been trying to grow my hair out with the least damage as possible so I haven't been blow-drying it or straightening it. That means a lot of natural hair going on. My natural hair is straight with weird waves from stupid cowlicks around my big face. It's sufficient but not pretty. That's why I've been waving/curling my hair a lot. I used all sorts of methods to get the wavy locks: sock bun, twisted buns, two Sailor Moon buns, French braids... (Hehe, BUNS.) But they don't last and I have to do it all over again the next day. #lazy #canigetanamen
..which is why I decided to get a permanent wave yesterday. Aaaand it sucks. They messed up the hair on the top of my head. I guess it didn't hold properly during the perm so it's still straight while the hair underneath is wavy. I would take a picture but I'm not wearing
P.S. Kari recently got the chop chop! So adorbs, right??
I'm sure your cut will look adorable. But you are right, chopping your hair causes hesitation.

I chopped my hair off four years ago...and haven't gone back to long hair since! a wavy bob would be super cute!

I like all of those styles! I got my hair done last Friday and like always, my stylists made my hair too big! I too am in the process of growing my hair out...this no heat thing is hard! I'm glad I'm out of school for 3 weeks so I can truly give my hair a break!
ReplyDeleteUGH! That stinks, well hopefully when you get the top waves it will look better :D
ReplyDeleteAnd I like the Kirsten Dunst cut best :)

Sorry to hear you're not happy with your hair. I recently cut about 4 inches off my length and got bangs again and I'm still getting used to them. I have a really cowlick too, right on the left side of my face, so a part of my bangs is always flipped upward, argh. I feel your pain!
ReplyDeleteI vote bottom left and then go shorter next time if you still want to! I just recently cut mine into a pixie (from your length) and I love it! I'm all about changing hair styles!
ReplyDeleteI really love the two chunky bang versions on the right, I think they would look crazy cute on you.
ReplyDeleteAhh! This is exciting! I love it when people get haircuts! I think you should do the top left (Kirstin)! That would look really good on you. And then if you want you can also get bangs after :) Good luck! Can't wait to see it!

Aw, I can't wait to see what you pick! I started wave perming my hair two years ago because I was like you...my naturally wavy hair was not uniform or controlled! I "bunned" it too, but got tired of it.
ReplyDeleteSince the perm, I have been toying with the idea of cutting it and seeing how semi-short waves look...but I'm scurrrrred!! Hopefully you'll give me the courage to do it. By the way, if your stylist messes your hair up, I have a great one in Ktown who does my wave perms! Good luck, Miss Elaine!

Oooh, I'd love to know who your stylist is!!!
ReplyDeleteI've been wanting to get a wave put in my hair, too but I didn't know if my stylist would crack up when I asked her! As for the cuts, I like the bottom left. It would look good with your face shape and still be long enough to tie up if you need to. I'm excited to see what you decide!
ReplyDeletei love the bottom left--her color is to die for.
ReplyDeletealso, i've been wanting a perm so bad, but i'm afraid that bleach and perm will be a disaster...good luck
I like the Kirsten one because the the bangs and length are more versatile! I know you'll look fabulous either way - how could you not?! <3
