MNG by Mango trenchcoat (free), Mink Pink blouse (c/o KODI Boutique), thrifted belt ($1), refashioned Forever 21 skirt ($7), Old Navy wedges ($15)

When I received this floral top, I knew I had to pair it with my striped skirt. Florals and stripes FTW!!! I still can't get enough of this combo. If you consider how little there is of floral-anything in my closet, it is kind of sad.. But stripes? OBSESSED!!! Do you lean more towards florals or stripes?

P.S. Does my skin look ashy to anybody else? I look like a zombie...

  3. I really like the striped skirt! I wonder if it would go with as many things as a striped shirt would?

  6. Jealous that you can still wear sandals and bare legs in November. And have you SEEN zombies? You look nothing like one :)

  7. Your stripes and florals are perfect! I really like the soft colors of the blouse against the black and white.

I don't think you look ashy at all, maybe it's because I'm Asian, too. Maybe I'm ashy and I don't know it!

  8. I'm a total stripes girl, but I won't say no to adding some florals too into the mix if I could make them look this good together! Though I tend to think of pattern mixing as a little daring (most of the time too daring for me) this looks very wearable! I will definitely take inspiration from it for my own outfits! :)

  14. I think I'm more of a florals girl myself, there are only 2 or three striped things in my closet, but I should probably find a skirt like this. It looks really lovely on you.

  18. stripes, stripes, stripes, always stripes!  (i'm mildly obsessed too).  i think there's only 3 or 4 floral items in my closet.  it was tough finding pieces for that double floral thing last monday. ^_^  ooo, maybe a rule breaking stripe on stripe should be in the future....

Your skin doesn't look ashy at all! You look completely gorgeous! And honestly, I don't think I lean towards either. I don't like the way stripes look on me at all since I'm a little curvier, and I've always thought floral was too girly for me. But maybe I should try floral anyway. :)
