H&M top ($8), cream 5" flower (c/o Hot Magnets), vintage skirt ($5), JCPenney heels (free), vintage bag ($15)
I thrifted this skirt a couple weeks ago but haven't had a chance to wear it because it's thick knit. And who wears a thick knit vintage sweater skirt in the fall in L.A. when it's 90 degrees out? ME, that's who. Even though I almost died of a heat stroke glistened sweat buckets, it was so worth it, I think. I went for a pop of color on the feet to complement the colorful skirt and stripes on top to add pattern and a flower to add that extra something (as though stripes and pops of colors weren't enough for me...which they obviously weren't since I added the flower, duh, Elaine!). I'll show you tomorrow a casual way I styled this skirt because I can't stop wearing it. It's almost like a disease...but healthier?

Great skirt! Where do you thrift in LA?
ReplyDeleteI mentioned a few places here, along with Goodwill on 6th towards downtown and the Goodwill on Western west of Olympic.
ReplyDeletesuch a cute skirt! You may have almost died of a heat stroke while wearing it, but here in Germany I would have frozen to death!
ReplyDeleteIf that skirt is a disease, I want to get sick!
