Would you guys be mad if this were really my outfit post? I like my face blurred out. Means you can't see my acne!! It also means I hate night shots...on me, at least.

Just kidding. Here is my real outfit shot where I painted my face white or I'm a ghost. You can decide. There's actually no wrong answer.

Can you tell I'm still on the tuck-the-front-of-your-shirt-in-just-a-little-to-make-it-look-like-you-hardly-spent-time-on-the-tuck-at-all look? And I'll get sick of it....never. I'm going to do this with all my shirts until I run out of clean tops. And then I'll start all over again.
I'm wearing a JCPenney necklace (free), Gap sweater ($12), secondhand Gap jeans ($9), Target clogs (gift), and vintage bag ($15).
I agree with you & Monkeyface down there... the tuck? Totally still awesome - though I admit I think it works on others more than myself. I need to get better at being nonchalant about it or something. I think I overthink it. Pathetic. Ha ha.
ReplyDeleteI want.. no.. NEED that grey shirt.
ReplyDeleteI can't ever do the tuck in the front shirt without feeling super silly which is a total bummer since I REALLY would like to work-it. haha!

I do that with almost every shirt I wear too. I can't help it, it just feels great!
ReplyDeleteI have the same problem with photos at night by flash, I go ghost white. I'm so pale. When did I have this revelation? When some took a picture of me in the day time & I was wearing white ballet flats, you seriously couldn't tell where my shoes ended & my legs started (In a day time shot! This wasn't even ghostly night time me, this was day time!) But I've come to terms with it as you can tell.
ReplyDeleteThose are some gorgeous jeans! The fit is amazing.

ReplyDeletethe sloppy tuck is all the rage. i would be lying if i said i didn't sloppy tuck my white tee shirt into my yoga pants today. yep ... that's what i wore ... all.day.long.
ReplyDeleteFlashes can be unflattering at the best of times ... but I still think you look super stylish :)

I am also not sick of the "I only have enough energy to tuck the very front of my top in" look. I saw it on a mannequin at Gap the other day and was like YEP. Still awesome.
ReplyDeleteCute! Love the jeans.
ReplyDeleteThere's something about the flash at night that makes everyone look ghostly. And by everyone, I mean us pale folks.
