Old Navy shirt ($4), Forever 21 necklace ($6), secondhand Gap jeans ($9), Target clog sandals (free), vintage bag ($15)

I don't have anything to say for this outfit except I wish my hair looked like this all the time instead of flat, boring, and straight...which is what it ended up looking like by the end of the day. I don't even know how I did this anymore! I need an 80s perm, stat!

P.S. I was checking all the nice tweets I got on Twitter and by all I mean just one.

  4. Hair is fierce!  I usually have to sleep in curlers to get it like that.  The husband hates when I do that.

  5. Soooo gorgeous! I love your hair. With your hair like that you remind of Christina Yang from Grey's, only a younger and prettier Christina Yang. ;)

  6. Curlers! That's awesome. Isn't it uncomfortable to sleep with them? I always wondered..

  7. Hahah! You're so right! I love Christina's hair.

  8. The curls are adorable- and if you want them to last try Biolage Thermal-Active Setting spray --> use it before you curl, then set with a little bit of light hold hairspray and even the most stubborn straight hair stays curled!

  13. So casual and comfy, yet pulled together. Like the necklace (although I wish I could see more of it!) And I am envious of the half tuck ... mine always look sloppy instead of fresh.

  16. Your hair looks nice everyday--and I'm not saying that because I'm a guy and guys don't notice things like that. I mean, I notice...well, sometimes, on occassion...you know...whenever.  Doesn't your hair look like that every day???   ;P

PS - I don't want to over-tweet and wear out my welcome.

  17. Your hair does look really nice... and can I just mention that I'm very jealous of your ability to wear open-toed shoes. It's getting SO chilly here in the Northeast.

  18. Your hair looks fab! I think everyone wished their hair looked like that every day! Only in our dreams, though. Only in our dreams.

  24. I like the wavy hair! I think wavy hair is the most versatile. Mine is straight and thin too... not so good for styles. Even when I get it cut differently it looks the same! Love this bag!

  37. Your hair looks great Elaine. I have a similar issue though. My hair is naturally crazy curly, but when I flat iron ir, I can't get even the slightest bend to stay in it :/

  39. I have long, flat, naturally straight hair... I used to lust after curls and volume for a while until I realized how many women would KILL for my hair haha, telling me how much time they spent straightening their hair and the money they spent on hair products for it. The grass is always greener eh?

  40. e! loving this and the hair.  beeyooteeful!

  41. Girlfriend! Your hair does, indeed, look awesome! You should seriously consider making the change. I actually got a "wave pahmah" two years back, and it changed my life. Mostly because I never have to do anything with my hair EVER. I know a good place in LA if you ever want to give it a try. It's a bit pricey though, but I love it...and you seriously look fab with wavy hair!

  42. Ooh-la-la...the hair is GORGEOUS!  I love it.

  45. Lovely hair! So curly and fun. :) I guess I should be thankful, my hair is naturally like that all the time... sometimes I find myself wishing for straight hair! hehe. Guess everyone should be happy how they are. ^_^

  46. your hair looks awesome like that!  you should remember how to do it asap. =)

  47. I'm not gonna lie, your versatility is kind of amazing....and infuriating. I'm jealous.

  48. Thanks!! I'm still debating.. I've been wanting to donate my hair to Locks of Love (or something similar) so I've been growing it out and trying not to do too much to it, hence, the lack of hair styling..

    ReplyDelete
  49. Seriously! I know once I get a perm, I'm going to want my straight hair back!

  50. Tights with open-toed shoes, perhaps?? :)
