Tying the Knot

Yes... I tied the knot again. HAHAH. I'm so funny. Wait! That wasn't a pun..........

Chase and I were running late for church again. (No, we'll never learn!) So I threw on the first thing I could think of which was my newly discovered button-up tying skillz. I like the way it turned out despite being rushed (by Chase). I even remembered how to do a crownbraid! Huzzah! ..albeit it was messy and hair was poking out everywhere..but messy hair is in, right?

Yes, I am naturally this awkward and shy... More awkward than anything else though. Thanks, Kari, for taking my pics!
I'm wearing an Anthropologie necklace (free), Gap shirt ($12), handmade skirt from a curtain ($3), and JCPenney pumps (free).

  4. For whatever reason, some people can get away with messy hair and some can't!  You're one of the lucky ones, your's never looks messy, even when you think it does.

My wife says one of my super powers is making people un-awkward, but it would take too long a comment to explain. =)

  5. Thank you! I made it from a thrifted IKEA curtain! It actually smelled really bad. I hope it doesn't anymore.

  16.  I just tied the knot for real ;)  This outfit is darling...I've recently discovered tying the knot too, as part of how to best utilize my wardrobe!  It really does add some pizzazz and ease to any outfit, I think...really cute to tie shirts over dresses, I've discovered.

  17. Did I read this correctly? You did a Sound of Music/Gone with the Wind curtain-to-clothing treatment on this skirt? It's lovely! And, I love the heel on your shoes - I'm liking the solid, square style a lot right now.

  26. That curtain-skirt is awesome, heh. I kinda want to try this tying a white button down shirt thing... I'll have to go searching for one at the thrift store and see how it goes.
