This is the second installment of the "... at work?" series. This is where I test my work dress code boundaries. You can see the first one here. Now I'm just begging to get fired.. But they're so comfortable! ..like pajamas! ...work pajamas!! Have any of you guys pulled off the sweats at work? Yeah? We can be unemployed together. <3

I loved my work pajamas so much I wore them twice..! Possibly the following day. You'll never know. ...unless you saw me both days. Then you would. But you probably didn't. Or did you? Stop stalking me!

You've got at least two there for the Hall of Fame!
ReplyDeleteWhen I worked in the Smithsonian's central budget office, all the guys there and in management wore suits and ties all the time--it didn't amtter how hot it was in the room. I started taking my jacket off at the start of meetings and unbuttoning my top button. At first people looked at me like I had committed a crime. But when they saw I didn't care and it didn;t affect the meeting in any way, soon all the older guys were doing the same thing. I felt like I set them free. But they refused to follow me into wearing jeans to work. It was kind of a stuffy (19th century-like) place then. Thankfully things have changed.
Hi. I want those, yes I do!
ReplyDeleteEh...not quite a fan. Maybe add a belt, maybe if they weren't in that heather gray color - like a navy blue or black. But mad props for being daring enough to wear them, and they do look very comfortable.
ReplyDeleteWoah, you are a brave, brave person. I'm not so sure...I'm not a fan of sweatpants anyways (I only own a pair for winter running), but you are rocking them! I think the heels help!
ReplyDeleteThis is soooo my M.O. haha. My goal in life is to always feel as if I'm in pajamas, or better yet, bedsheets! Loving your look, I must say! You definitely dressed them up, I think! :)

I want those sweats for stylish lounging or a trip to the supermarket and gym. I wouldn't wear them to work though.
ReplyDeleteMaybe you just need some pajama jeans! Hahaha. But I really kind of like them!! :)
ReplyDeleteHi, how are you? ahaha nice post
ReplyDeleteI'm not a sweatpant girl, but I have to admit you look so so pretty
and your sunnies are gourgeous!

I have a pair of pj pants but they are wool so they are fancy. Not like I want cold weather but ... then I can finally wear them!
ReplyDeleteprops for wearing sweatpants. I think the look would've been better with a more fitted shirt. but seriously awesome that you wore that too work, kinda jealous
ReplyDeleteOmg! You rocked the yoga pants, you make them look so chic!

These are way cool. I understand why you were afraid of 'breaking the dress code' but you look way chic in these pants.
ReplyDeletethese look amazing on you. they look great with those shoes. :) don't think i could pull these off!!

I think with a less loose top I would have considered it totally work appropriate...still looks good though!
ReplyDeleteI love the way you styled your "work sweatpants" with the bright pumps. Almost makes it work appropriate ;)
ReplyDeleteYour outfit looks so comfy!! That's one of the benefits of not having a uniform, as uniforms are sometimes uncomfortable :/

I love how you've styled the pants with the top and glam shoes...they barely look like sweats (though I'm sure they are VERY comfy!!)
ReplyDeletelol you are sooooo funny! and i love this look

I'd probably wear those to walk to work? I dress pretty kooky as it is though heh.
ReplyDeleteThat is the coolest thing ever! You are seriously rocking that outfit. You made those sweats look chic. Good job!
ReplyDeleteu pull those pants of so fabulously!
ReplyDeleteIf all sweats looked this chic on us they would be allowed at work lol
ReplyDeleteYou look great in your sweats! Very appropriate for work the way you have a stylish look going on.
ReplyDeleteMy idea of sweats is over sized frumpy bottoms with a hooded sweatshirt. That look would NOT go over well at work! :)
This seems totally inappropriate for work; aren't jeans just as comfortable and 10x more stylish?
ReplyDeleteSOOOO CUTE!!! I wish I could pull that off...
ReplyDeleteHaha! Wow, lucky you!
ReplyDeleteGetting to dressed casual for work on most workdays is great!
Looking good ;)
