Shirt, the Front Tie

Wednesday, August 10, 2011
You guys didn't know this had a tie front to it, did you?? I didn't either. That's a lie. I did. I wish these things came with instructions. It took me an hour to get the perfect bow in the front!! I could've spent that hour practicing my outfit poses...or fixed my hair...or smiled (nah, it was way too early for that).

I'm determined to wear this shirt with every bright-colored bottom I have!! ...which is like three. But at least pink and yellow are DOWN.

  2. Well, it looks very pretty, so it was worth the hour.  As long as Chase wasn't waiting for you.  LOL, I'm very lucky in that way.  My wife never seems to take long getting ready.

  6. Cute outfit, however maybe Forever 21 is a bad choice considering they use sweatshop labor. There is plenty of evidence in this, and I mean come on, there is no other way they could have prices that low. You can't claim ignorance.

  11. I love front tie shirts. I tie my regular button up shirts all the time. I live how it emphasizes my waist. You, of course, look adorable!

  15. Love it!  Yellow is one of my favorite colors and these pants are enviable.  Also, I'm totally jealous of your skinnying skills.

  16. You are so brave wearing those yellow skinnies! They look so great on you that I want to run out and buy some bright colored pants for myself!

  17. Wow this looks incredible... I always love your outfits (in fact I don't think there is ONE that I don't like- that includes the ones you post saying you don't like the ensemble, whereas I'm like "shuush u look lush :)" haha) but this one is utterly simple and oh-so-sunny! X x x

  20. I'm officially totally obsessed with those pants. You do brights so well together! I just look like a painter's workshop exploded, tee hee.

I could have made this up, but did you do a "how to" for belt looping a while (a long while) back? I can't seem to find it, and I'm not sure if I made it up!

  23. I LOVE those pants :)
I was actually thinking about you today when I put my skinny colored pants on, I wished we lived closer so you could hem them up at a flattering length because I bought the inseams too long, and your pants always look so good-- whereas mine bunch around my ankles.  I'm so lazy though.  << well that was a ramble!

Also, I bought some things from Korea today too.  Which also made me think you.

    Yep, I'm a creeper.

  30. That top goes with every colour! Love the outfit. And those skinnies look AMAZING on you xo

  31. Ooh, yes ma'am!  I love that you're having a bright pants party with this shirt.  The combination is so fun and yet not at all over the top; that's a hard balance to strike and you're doing it wonderfully!

  32. I've actually been trying the tied-shirt look and its almost analogous to belting an outfit.  It gives a shirt shape and better proportions the top half of an outfit.  I love what you did in this outfit.  The colors are gorgeous and the lighting is superb.
