Some Sundays it's real hard to get up much less get sassy-fied for church. The Sunday Elaine snapped these photos of me, the day before I had spent all day with my family at the beach. Super fun but beach day with the family (nieces and nephew) is a little different than when it's just me and my hubs. When I go by myself there's more.....laying. And reading. Then more laying. So what I'm trying to say is, I was pooped from the day before and did not feel like getting ready on Sunday. Like at all. Enter Church Pajamas! I got this phrase from a comment from one of my
very first outfit posts and it's pretty much priceless. I love it hard.
I was actually inspired by
this pin. When I saw that I knew I could recreate it and in a moment of laziness, it came to me like a vision. Can I tell you that I was so comfy all day? Made me so happy.
I'm wearing a black H&M maxi dress, neon pink Forever 21 v-neck,
DV by Dolce Vita strappy sandals,
black Swatch, Grandma's vintage pendant necklace, yellow fringe cross body H&M bag.
Hehe, church pajamas!

Your 'Church Pajamas' look a lot like my 'Causal Friday Pajamas'. We don't officially have a casual Friday but they let it slide anyway.

Love wearing comfy but appropriate clothes to church! Feels sneaky and awesome. My favorite in the winter time is Uggs. Is that your chapel? Looks gorgeous and really different from most LDS buildings!

oh yes, church PJs might be the best phrase EVAH.
ReplyDeletejust sayin'.
Kari, I love this look! I will certainly be copying it... when the temp falls below 80 :o)
ReplyDeleteYes! That's our building. It's historic and was going to be torn down at one point but Pres. Hinckley actually saved it! It looks more like a catholic church than a normal LDS building. It's really pretty and has a lovely courtyard where Elaine and I take our pics on Sundays!
ReplyDeleteThank you! you have Elaine to thank - she uses her camera and takes these Sunday photos. :)
ReplyDeleteDon't you love the phrase? Kills me.
ReplyDeleteDo it!!
ReplyDeleteI had this bookmarked since you posted. Today, I am recreating your outfit and wearing my "school pajamas"! Love it! Thanks for the idea!
