My outfit here was inspired by this picture from Zara. I didn't have any green pumps so I went for the next closest thing -- my Old Navy tan strappy wedges. Yes, the same ones I was selling here. I sold them to myself. I didn't even get a discount! How rude!!

If you've noticed (or not, whatever), the bookcase pictures are back! Oh, the woes of being a fashion blogger. Chase just started school again a couple weeks ago so I need to get a new photographer. I mean, remote. I mean, wake up earlier. What I mean is, I'm wearing a Gap dress I snipped into a shirt ($7), my husband's brown belt ($10), Gap Factory boyfriend jeans ($26), and Old Navy wedges ($15).
Also, today is the last day to enter to win this dress from Mikarose. So you can sing hallelujah because this is not going to be the last giveaway reminder... I have a new one coming up tomorrow!

  13. You should keep them - they look great with this outfit. I love the BF jeans fit on you. I've always wanted to try the look but can't seem to find the perfect jeans... I think I'll give Gap a try.

  16. I really like this outfit. I wore something similar recently, but boyfriend jeans fit you so much better than most people. I also like the wedges better than the green pumps for this look. Although green wedges would be pretty cool too.

  18. Elaine, I like the way you tuck your shirts in in the front, but leave them out in the back.  I tried it for the first time on Monday with a shirt I've always worn out, but felt like it looked sort of sloppy -- Guess what!? Your front--tucked-in, back-left-out style was a success with my shirt!  Thanks for the inspiration :)

  19. Those shoes are from Old Navy?  I am going to have to browse their shoe selection next time, I don't know why but I never paid attention to that part of the store!  Cute outfit and good luck with finding a new photographer!  My mom has been taking my photos...so nice to not have to always use the tripod and hold my pose for 10 sec! ;)
