Hope you all had a good Father's Day! My in-laws came for a visit. Rosie was NOT happy. She hid in the shoe closet all weekend. We went to the temple, saw Super 8 (eh), went shopping (where I got this shirt!) and tried and loved Nick's Cafe (an old, tiny, ghetto diner in the middle of nowhere, L.A. that is absolutely delish!!!).

For church on Sunday, I wore my new H&M floral top ($16), Forever 21 striped skirt ($7 - buy it!), and JCPenney berry heels (free).

Then we went to San Diego for a quick drive to see my sister-in-law and her family for a Father's Day BBQ dinner. I just changed into these yellow jeans. (Told you I wasn't lying when I said I was living in them and the striped skirt all week! I finally washed them today. I'm not gross. Okay, just a little...but mostly busy lazy.)

It was fun to see my nieces and nephew again...and take pictures with my SIL's new cam...

Make some s'mores... (I had five. Is that gross? ..because they were delicious.)

And I got to hang out with my future baby daddy. So it was a great day.

Sounds like a great weekend! Great shirt
ReplyDeleteyour hair has AMAZING body in these pics. what's your secret?
ReplyDeleteI wore this exact outfit when I first got that H&M top! Haha. Though I wore it untucked. It just goes so well with stripes!

I bought the skirt in the solid bright blue. The medium was long enough for a 5'9 Mormon if you don't fold it over. In love.
ReplyDeleteLOVE that first outfit! It is also cute with the jeans! I LOVE these pictures. It is the ultimate fathers day!
ReplyDeleteCute outfits!!

ReplyDeleteYou look great in this print, and I love how bold the second outfit is. Smores are pretty much the best thing about being outside by a fire. They even make being bite by mosquitoes bearable.

ReplyDeletesounds like an awesome father's day, I love the new shirt.

ReplyDeleteElaine, you have the greatest ability to put patterns together, loving the new top with the striped skirt!! Your hair also is looking quite fab. Glad to hear you had a fantastic weekend.
ReplyDeleteThat top is perfect with both the skirt and the jeans! Sounds like there's no reason to ever wear any other bottoms again, just rotate tops.
ReplyDeleteEating five s'mores is not gross. They are the best food ever so it's completely allowed. :)
ReplyDeleteThat stripe skirt looks SO darn good on you! Perfect with the print of that top.
That top is gorgeous, looks great with the skirt and jeans!
ReplyDeleteLove the top. Love the jeans. Must get both!! Colored jeans are BIG this fall!
