Now I want some Skittles

I'm wearing an Anthropologie green shirt ($11 - buy it!), secondhand blue scarf ($3), thrifted and skinnied Forever 21 yellow jeans ($6), and JCPenney berry heels (free) with vintage Gucci bucket bag ($3).

These are the same pants I skinnied here. My first pair of colored jeans -- I am finally cool. Do you guys have any colored jeans? I think next on my list are red and/or pink ones.

Naturally, I paired these with every and any color I could find in my closet. Now I want some Skittles. And by some I mean a whole bag just for me. Only the yellow ones please. And I guess green too. The rest are gross.

  2. I love, love the color of these jeans! I have a light purple pair. I can't believe you altered these yourself! The look great. I normally just take my dress pants and jeans to a professional but after reading your posts I think I'll take a chance and try to hem skinnies in the future!

    I recently got my first pair of colored jeans too! They're kind of a burnt red color. I'm so convinced that they'll work with so many tops that I've included them in my 30 for 30. Your yellow pair are so pretty!

    I have a pair of purple skinny jeans that I got from F21 for something under $15. I have to take them in at the waist but aside from that, they're perfect. I seriously want some red or green ones though. One or the other and I'll be the happiest camper in Fashion Woods.

  46. I am also a fan of the yellow and green skittles :) Also, I love the greenish yellow combo on top - it's a loud color, but it really works as a neutral in this case.

  52. oh my gosh i adore the mix of colors here! the buttery and mustardy yellows look so great together (even if those two flavors don't exactly work together :) i don't have colorful jeans YET, but i do have a pair of cobalt blue denim shorts on their way to me. i was feeling unsure about what to do with them, but this outfit is very inspiring.
