Wore this over the weekend to run some errands and go shopping. I just bought this shirt from Old Navy for $4!!! I hate Old Navy and its quality but I can't say no to their cheap prices. I'm figuring this will last me a week or so. I'm not complaining...yet.

I tried out a new 'do by Joanna:  the braided top bun. Super easy. Super cute. My hair is layered so there were a lot of hairs sticking out. You can kind of see them in the light. I liked it a little messy!

Don't forget.. You still have a chance to win an account to Pinterest!

I'm wearing H&M sunnies ($1), Old Navy red striped shirt ($4 - buy it!), Spanish gold necklace ($30), secondhand BDG blue skinny jeans ($17), and H&M black flats ($13) with a thrifted black bag ($4).

Love this look! Yay for stripes. I realized this is pretty much how I wear my hair everyday, except I need to get my braided bun higher up!

I love this top and I have an Old Navy gift card.

You look so bad-a in that first pic! It's like you are daring Old Navy to make decent clothes. But this is a really pretty outfit. Simple but fantastic.

ok, seriously...you look 100% bad(ahem)butt in that first picture. like i would be afraid of you if i crossed you in an alley. loving the stripes, though!

OMG, is that thrfted purse Chanel???!? if so, i'm beyond jealous!

You look adorable as always, and I love this easy combination! The pictures look gorgeous too, especially in this lighting!

Love this striped top on you! I agree that Old Navy's quality is sometimes subpar. I feel like years ago they produced a LOT of good stuff and now I find just the occasional good piece. Not complaining - I do have quite a few decent pieces from them - it's just something I have noticed as well.

LOVE the hair! I need to grow me some longer hairs! :-)~

love the casual look - the stripes is my fave part of it!

I want your hair skills.

I second you on Old Navy -- though some of my most random pieces come from there and they hold up great. I love it when something proves the Old Navy Theory wrong!

Hahaha, The Old Navy Theory. Love it.

Super easy? My arms ache from trying that braid bun. :) Super cute? Definitely! I'll keep working on it.

I almost bought that top yesterday! Way to make me regret it. :-) You look awesome, and thanks for the new hair tip!

i love my old navy skinnies!! they're awesome.
i tried the heidi-esque crown braid from jo this week and it was bad. my hair's too layered.

I love how you rock even a seemingly easy breezy outfit.

I once bought a skirt from Old Navy for...get this...forty-nine cents. But it was hideous and I was in eighth grade. BUT IT WAS FORTY-NINE CENTS. I wore it like maybe twice, and once was Halloween.

Also: I got an email from you the other day through Shopzilla (I use the Beso widget on my blog too!) and I was like "whaaaaat".

The top is really cute! Just try not to wash it for as long as possible. Then it will last longer. Love the hair.

KK @butshoppingmakesmehappy said...

haha...i have that same top and I love it, but I also am expecting it to last exactly four wears. I'm one wear away if my theory is right. Love your outfit!

Elaine Hearn said...

Seriously!! It feels so fragile...like a paper bag.. I'm really not expecting it to last longer than a month. Eh!

Your hair looks so cute up! Love the braided top bun, I'm going to have to give it a try-I think they layers will make it look different, but hopefully in a good way. Nice top-I know what you mean I have a love/hate relationship with F21 and Old Navy.

Sarah McCammon said...

I tell you, it's a total love hate relationship. They have awesome sales but then I wash it and realize I might have well thrown my money in the washer too...ugh depression

Frances Joy said...

Stinkin' Old Navy and their tempting prices! I also hate them, but can't resist the cheapness. Also, if I had enough hair (meaning not the thin, baby fine curls I have) I'd totally try that bun.

i haven't been to an old navy in so long but that top is a great steal. this whole outfit is a great steal! and the next time i'm in L.A. i will have to put up a Tweet so all my fave bloggers will know that I'll be in town so we can meet up! I'll definitely let you know the next time! :)

Thanks for the sweet comments lately! Liking this cute casual look, and loving the bun, of course!! Too cute!

I like your hair, and the half tucked shirt. Old Navy is where way too much of my clothes come from. I always seem to hit a great sale, and stock up on their clothes. Also, their pants fit me pretty well.
