I'm wearing a pink flower headband (giveaway win from Wanderlustings - buy it!) pinned to a Forever 21 straw hat ($4), Old Navy striped shirt ($12), vintage black belt ($5), Forever 21 black pleated skirt (gift), and Fitzwell black flats ($75 - buy it!) with a vintage Gucci bucket bag ($4).

Yes, I wore the hat again. Looks like my subconscious really wants to go to the beach.. Me too, SC. Me too.

I actually wore this outfit (minus the hat) when Chase and I went to the temple last weekend. I only wore it for like an hour so I had to wear it again because I looked so good in it.

My brother-in-law and his girlfriend are visiting us in L.A. Today while I was at work, they (including Chase) went to Roscoe's!!! And THEN they went to see Conan!! Yes, I cried at work... Now we're going to get some Korean BBQ. But now I'm too mad to go. HA! Whatever. I'm totally going..

O I would be mad too, I can only imagine the impending doom my BF would face... probably not I would just make a pouty face and he would roll his eyes and we would move on with life...

They saw Conan without you?! Not cool. I would love to see him, he is my favorite redhead, without a doubt. You look so great in this outfit! I'm loving the hat. Hat + stripes = adorable.

Elaine! You rock that hat- wear it daily. Also that outfit deserves another wearing. I love how you made that length of hem, at the knee, still chic and posh. I need to take a lesson from your play book on hemlines. Sorry you missed Conan. Hope you enjoyed the Korean BBQ. xo. -Bella Q

I LOVE that skirt, and the idea of pinning your headband to your hat! So cute. That is not fair at all that they saw Conan without you! I hope the Korean BBQ made up for it.. :)

I need to pull out my hat (and maybe copy this entire look!).

And I would've been totally upset if they went anywhere without me!

Boo... that happened to me a lot when my husband was a schoolboy and I was a workerbee. Now we are both workerbees so we miss out on stuff together. What is up with that?

You are right, of course, this is an awesome outfit.  I especially love your flower pin on the hat.  I have a whole collection of flower pins.  For some reason I can't resist them.  You look super cute in these pics.

They did all of that without you?  Well, they wanted you there...it just wasn't meant to be.  At least you're in on the BBQ.  It's nice you have family visiting.

I really like this post.  There's the hat, the hallway, and the smile (not necessarily in that order). =)

I think we had chicken 'n waffles here too...maybe a witty copy that I did not understand. Stripes are so in this season.

What is it about warm weather that just makes you want to plop a darling, but unnecessary accessory on your head?  Maybe it's the fact that warm weather makes me too lazy to wash my hair, so i just cover it up instead.  And all this beach talk is really getting to me.
