I'm wearing a Target green tunic ($16 - buy it!), reworked JCPenney pink necklace (free with gift cards), Forever 21 black skirt ($6), and thrifted Nine West black heels ($3).
Can I just start out by saying how much I love this tunic shirt thing? K, now I can start...
I think I'm wearing this braided updo a little too much... But it's so easy! ...and I forgot how to do a crownbraid!!!!!! :(:(:(:(:( Quick! Someone study my tutorial and teach me! My ego needs it!!

Oh! I love this top! It looks so fresh... might have to hit up Target and try one on! I like the pebble color!
That is a great shirt and a great skirt. They go very well together.
Hope you had a wonderful Sunday.
I don't mean to be hateful, I mean this with sincere care for you and your cute self, but girl, you need to visit the dermatologist. Your skin is ANGRY!
Thank you for the observation, Kate. I have an appointment on Tuesday! HALLELUJAH.
i love the tunic too + the necklace!
I actually like this updo on you. So go on with your bad self. That tunic looks really pretty tucked in.
Yikes. If this is angry, I don't think there are words to describe mine. I'd paint you a picture, but it wouldn't be pretty. Elaine, if it makes you feel better, your skin is a million times better than mine....and I bet it doesn't hurt. At least I hope not.
Oh, it does.. It burns and it yells at me! I'm soooo sick of it!!!!!!
I'm SO sorry to hear that. I know just how you feel. Let me know if you get some good tips from your dermatologist. My appointment is not for another 3 weeks!!
And, I think you still look great :)
i love updos :]
i always go on kicks on them too...ill either wear updos all week or actually do my hair...updos usually win :]

That tunic is quite lovely! I can see why you love it so much. You look great. I like the little braided updo, it's nice ;)
You have such class, Elaine. And grace. The slim pencil neck is perfect with the loose tunic. Quite the flattering ensemble. :)
Yes, will definitely let you know! Keep me updated!! :) elainehearn@gmail.com (I made my derm appointment a month ago too.. What the heck? Don't they realize this is an emergency?!?)
And thank you! You're so nice!!!
cute.
Once I find a good style I tend to stick with it. Until 2 weeks later when it suddenly doesn't work anymore...yay curly hair I guess...
I think that hairdo is beautiful. You look great!
I love the top with the form-fitting skirt. The top really balances the look!

It's totally understandable that you love this shirt ;-) I like this monochromatic outfit with the colourful necklace a lot! Something to keep in mind as inspiration!
Very cute, I love flouncy shirts with pencil skirts. The color looks good on you too.
I have been obsessed with flowy tunic tops lately too! I love your necklace! :)
A flowy top yucked into a pencil skirt is always a winning look in my book!!

I love your blouse!
Great outfit! I too like your tunic top, it's very versatile. I think the top knot is adorable, I only wish I could do it too. I would need professional (hair wrangling) help!
That necklace is truly an eye candy. Sweet!

I owned this top and then I noticed after 1 wear that it was ripping right beside the seam at the bust (near the buttons). Luckily, Target let me return it and I went to grab another one but noticed that all of them were close to ripping as well. Not sure if we got a bad batch at my Target, but keep an eye out for that! I was so bummed b/c I loved that shirt!
Noooooooooooo :(
You look amazing in this comb! I love love love love it! Oversized blouses/tunics are the best thing, I've been wearing them all week!
pretty In Palace ♥
A really gorgeous outfit. You look so pretty. I also love the tunic and the skirt is beautiful, too.
I love the braided bun. You always look so polished! The necklace is so cute.

im in love with that necklace!
I agree, it's easy to fall into the lazy hair style rut, especially once it starts to get hot out and you want your hair off your neck!
LOVE LOVE LOVE and totally want your necklace!!! :)
I must say - you look dynamite in this one - that necklace is amazing!

A friend of mine had a link to your blog on facebook today~ I checked you out and I love it! Your style is classy, cute and affordable - Most importantly FUN!
Oh, thank you so much!! And please tell your friend thanks too!!!
I love the flowy top tucked into a pencil skirt, really cool way to style it!
Definitely love that shirt Of yours!!
The fabric of the shirt looks so great! And I love the length of the sleeves. :)
I really really like all the volume on the top of this look (blousy tunic top, big necklace) balanced out with the pencil skirt. The colors are great too!

I just bought that same necklace from some little boutique but I wonder if they just bought it at JC Penney and sold it more expensive to me. Do you mind me asking how much was your necklace? I know it was free but how much was the price for it?
I love the looser top with the bandage skirt - you look amazing. Loving the hair too.
