Denim on denim is still big. It used to be a fashion don't but now it's a fashion must. And I've already jumped on that bandwagon before. (Meaning "I was already cool.") I remember seeing Sydney wear a chambray shirt with flared jeans and I thought, "I can so recreate this." And I did. I don't know why I never thought of pairing my ONLY chambray shirt to my OTHER pair of blue jeans. Way to think outside of the blue jean box, Me...

If you're still waiting for that Pinterest invite, don't fret.. Enter to win an invite here.

I'm wearing a thrifted Gap chambray shirt ($4), Old Navy brown belt ($10 - buy it!), secondhand Gap flared jeans ($9), Spanish gold necklace ($30), and Target clog sandals (gift from my in-laws) with a vintage Gucci bucket bag ($3).

  5. You are awesome to pull off denim on denim. Two questions for you: what style are those Gap jeans, and are they terribly low rise? I am coveting them (and the fact that you thrifted them for $9!).

  18. I've always been scared of denim-on-denim (since my mom warned me off it when I was in 5th grade) but this is a good look! Seeing a style on someone else helps me be objective....maybe I'll just try it!

  25. So I thought about wearing a chambray-ish shirt with jeans on Saturday. Reading my mind, much? Now I'm glad I didn't because I wouldn't look as hot as you. But I'm ok with that.

  36. I'm trying to figure out if I have the guts to do this or not. I have a denim shirt and a pair of jeans that look a lot like the ones you are wearing sitting on a shelf by my bed (I've been trying a mini version of the 30 for 30 challenge with myself these past two weeks), but I still need to find the courage to try that particular combo. You make it look so cute and easy. :)
