My interpretation of this pin.
I'll tell you my secret...
gray maxi skirt + loose striped shirt + long pendant necklace + brown belt + one foot peeking out = perfect Madewell maxi skirt copycat outfit
..but I'd still rather wear hers! ..especially with that gorgeous Belladona skirt!
Love it! I actually think I prefer yours more ;) I am so in love with your maxi, its so perfect

dang girl, you're a slim jim! looks so good. i don't know why, but i feel like i can't wear a maxi with heels. i'm not tall, but it just feels wrong.
ReplyDeleteIt looks awesome. I love that pin as well. Your maxi skirt fits perfect!
ReplyDeleteSee how thin you are!!!
ReplyDeleteI appreciated your comment. A real friend stands with you when others are laughing at him. =)
I actually like your interpretation more! I think your skirt is prettier - it drapes nicely! :)
ReplyDeleteYours looks way better!!! Just my opinion, but you look awesome!!

What a great idea for the maxi dress!! And what a totally lovely outfit!!
ReplyDeleteI like your foot peeking out more.
ReplyDeleteLove this! Now I'm going to copy you, making me a copy of a copy. Will it translate or will it be like that 90's movie with Michael Keaton, Multiplicity? Anyone?

I agree with the others, I think your outfit is better. Now I just wish I could borrow your shape. A lot of the looks that are so great on you would be terrible on me, unfortunately.
ReplyDeleteNice look! Your hair is getting so long!
ReplyDeleteYou look so pretty and tall in this outfit!! I can't ever look tall....
ReplyDeleteSo cute, I love the dress worn as a skirt! :)

that skirt looks amazing on you!! love it with the striped top, too.
ReplyDeleteI actually prefer yours to Madewell's! I don't like the way her skirt fits in the pin.
ReplyDeleteYou recreated the look...only better. :). Is that the best length to wear maxis? It is, isn't it? Then I've been walking around looking like a highwatered dork. Why doesn't this surprise me?
ReplyDeletelove the skirt!!

Simply gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteAll your maxi looks lately have really made me want one of my own. Love this simple but cute look on you, Elaine!
ReplyDeleteMaxi dresses always look so good on you Elaine! I don't think the look would be very flattering on me though as I'm on the shorter side and the dress would just trail behind me :P
ReplyDeleteI actually think your outfit is much more flattering than the pin!!! :D

I really like it! I think I need to get in on this Maxi trend, they look so comfortable. I doubt I can find a dress OR skirt that is long enough, so maybe I need to copy you and turn a dress into a longer skirt :) hmm...
