Crown Braid Tutorial
So Chase and I tried to make a video but apparently I can't think, talk, and braid all at once because I'm stupid. Don't mind my pretty [makeup-less] face. I had just got home from the gym and had the perfect dirty, messy hair to do this.

YEAH! I'd love to see a pic!!! If you know how to French braid, it really isn't that bad! Just go along the hairline and make it tight when you're finishing the French braid and you should be good! Can't wait to seeeeee
Thank you so so much for posting this! I was wondering how you did your hair and didn't realized you just had one braid that went all the way around! I did something similar yesterday, but I had two braids that started at the top and wrapped around. I like the look of this one. I'll probably do it tomorrow!

This is such a cute idea! I've never seen a tutorial like this! Okay, I'm going to try it though I can't guarantee results because I'm kinda clumsy (and lazy!) when it comes to hair...plus I have really weak arms. :-/

The first time I did it under and the second time (like here) I just put the second braid behind the original French braid.

I do as much as I can in the front and then I switch my hands to be positioned behind my head. I don't know how else to explain it! I'm sorry!

I've done a different crown braid before (the easy kind) but I definitely wanna try this one. It looks hard but I like the finished look a lot better. I hope my arms can handle it tho because I think I will need a lot of practice.

Great tutorial! I've done the other crown braid but then you get pins all over the top of your head, so I really want to try it this way. Although, you're probably right about the strong arms :P
This was an awesome tutorial. The pictures probably helped more than a video because we could slow it down so I think you did a great job.

Thats so cool! I don't have strong arms though, I can barely braid my hair, let alone french braid it, UPWARDS! Btw, just wondering are you allowed to show cleavage and shoulders? Because I thought you said you couldn't.

I loooove this hairstyle! but i can only seem to braid slightly over halfway around my head. once i switch and start braiding up the other side it turns into a terrible mess and I don't know what to do. Any suggestions?
I did it this past Sunday and (without even thinking about it) started with my hands at the top of my head instead of switching when I got to the nape of my neck. Try that so you don't have to switch midbraid?

This is also great, because I think I have kind of the same hair type as you (black, soft, medium thickness?) which means this will probably work well on my hair. Anyways, you pull it off great! I will try it out and let you know how it goes!
This is a great tutorial, and such a fun look to keep your hair up during the summer. I have a quick question for you...I have been growing out my bangs for a few months, and little pieces of them always stick out in the braid--is there any way to fix this? (Most of the time they're such short pieces that you can't really pin them down)
I would use pomade or lots of hair spray! Good luck! I hated growing out my bangs!!
