A little bit of JCrew in my life

Not really. I am actually not wearing anything from J.Crew here. I have failed in life.

Today was a "I don't wanna get out of bed because I don't know what to wear and the things I picked out last night are lame now" day. So I came up with this instead. As a shorty, I probably shouldn't have paired bf jeans with flats...but I did. Take that, every style magazine out there ever. I love these jeans more every time I wear them...which is exactly 50% more lovin' now.

My necklace is made of TWO fake pearlies and some ribbon. Make your own here. (Pssst...I didn't double my necklaces this time.)

Also, I answered your guys' questions here. If you have anymore you'll have to wait until next year. Those are the rules. I didn't make 'em.

I'm wearing a cardigan from some random Korean clothing store ($13), Shade Clothing gray shirt (free with gift cards), faux pearl necklace ($5 - buy similar!), secondhand pearl necklace ($.75), Gap Factory boyfriend jeans ($26), and H&M black flats ($13) with a JCPenney black bag (free with gift cards).

Ahhh super cute I love the boyfriend jeans!! I'm still curious as to where these "8 extra lbs." went to? You look awesome, totally rocking the jeans + flats.

A little bit of Monica all night long...

Like the look - simple, understated... and it really gives you a fab shape! I would think that cardigans would be boxy -- but most certainly not on you. :) Skinny doll.

definitely digging the relaxed jeans

I don't think it makes you look short at all! It's a cute look. :) I love the necklace!

We don't even have Jcrew in Europe which is really sad! :)

The rolling of the jeans makes it work, I say. I need to try that out...

And I'm absolutely in love with your necklace. Please feel flattered rather than copied when I try it myself. I promise to give you all the glory!!!

I think the boyfriend jeans+flats are a great look. I shouldn't wear them either (short+"curvy") but I just love em!

Cute casual outfit! It's so smart the way pearls tone down the little boyfriend vibe in this outfit, just a girly touch.

you totally pull off the bf jeans and flats! even if you aren't tall, your legs seem proportionally long. aka, be glad you are not basically a torso with feet, like i am. i'm off to read your tutorial about the pearls!

andie said...

I think you pull of the cuff jeans and flats beautifully, despite your height! I'm also enjoying the mixing of neutrals in this outfit :-)

Love this look! I'm a munchkin too AND a stylist and I wear my bf jeans + flats with reckless abandon!

I did your double necklace DIY and posted it here. (credit back to you, of course!) I used another pearl necklace rather than a ribbon and the other necklace pinched my hairs all day. Lesson learned.

and $26 jeans?! I thought you had the "I buy nothing over $20" policy. Haha, they're super cute though. LOVE.
