Another okay outfit

Not really a fan of this outfit today...especially in these pictures. I look frumpy from too much bagginess on top and the bottom. But I had to! It was fat day! I even wore my Lipo in a Box underneath! Help me, skinny fairy! I don't think these shoes really helped either. The cuffs just shorten my already short legs. Blahblahcomplaincomplain. Mylifesucks.

You always look adorable! I am having a fat week! So I've just been wearing maxi dresses and maxi skirts. Probably not the best strategy...

I actually really enjoy your more "ordinary" outfits, maybe because my style is incredibly casual. It's great inspiration when I'm thinking "well, it wouldn't be *so* bad if I ran errands in track pants, right?!". The simple little touches like that necklaces are easy ways to make an outfit look like you're really pulled together.. and let's face it, I'm lazy enough that throwing on a necklace counts as effort for me:)

Sarah said...

*like that necklace. see, I'm so lazy my grammar is failing at life..

The look is pretty cute, actually. I love those shoes--I have them in grey, and I am seriously tempted to get them in brown and/or black, too.

i love this outfit! i do love that jacket - found a similar one for ten bucks at DI. score! i agree with you about the shoes, though. i would go with heels, but some without the ankle-y strap going on.

And when all else fails, wear and awesome necklace and hold a fabulous bag and you'll look smashing no matter what!

I think you look adorable! Love the jeans!

They say we are our own toughest judges, I think you don't look fat at all, I mean the intention of bf's jeans is to wear baggier jeans than usual, think the proportions are well balanced, but I also know the feeling of not liking what you see, don't worry dear my eyes are looking right to that lovely necklace!

I think your outfit's really cute! Want to know my personal opinion? (your gonna hear it anways!*GRIN*) I think its the white shirt that's throwing it off maybe. But it's very cute anways! Keep it up, I know it's hard sometimes to keep blogging, but your doing a great job! Thanks for being a great modest fashionista.

Really? I think you look fabulous! Not frumpy, or fatty or short. The shoes are so unique! I love how thick the cuff thing on the shoe is :)

Guest said...

why do skinny girls like to say their fat?

Janine said...

If that is what you call "frumpy", you don't want to see my definition of "frumpy". SO AWFUL. haha. I especially like the top part of your outfit, that jacket kicks-booty and looks great with the bright necklace and white shirt.

Btw you've got me hooked on Coke Zero. Had one at work the other week and have had several since then. You're right! None of that gross taste of Diet Coke. Weird...but cool.

Frumpy? What? I feel like this outfit is the perfect way of wearing boyfriend jeans with a looser-fitting top without it looking frumpy or big. The leather jacket pulls it all together, the necklace creates such a nice vertical line, and honestly, rolling up the jeans like that is genius, because all we can see are your skinny ankles, and no one will know the size of the rest of your legs! (Not that you're big or anything, you still look tiny to me. Hope that's not insulting) And of course - heels. Check and check.

I really love this outfit, I never knew frumpy could be this stylish!

I'm not even kidding now I love this outfit, and you are so tiny, so do not complain okay? That necklace makes my day... I feel a bit like a child does when they see something shiny or sparkly... i'm weird! And how on earth do you get your hair like that, I want to steal it!

the necklace and bag make the outfit great, I think you look super cute and cuddly!

Gertrude said...

Aw that's not true.. you look great seriously!

Fei Wyatt said...

Heh, I thought this was cute. I agree the the strap on the shoes + cuffs might have shortened you a little, but only now that you've pointed it out. Plus, I loved the brown the shoes brought to the outfit and found it an overall winner.

Isn't that funny how it works, we think something is just "ugh" on us, and everyone else is like "What are you talking about?!"

Closet Fashionista said...

Psh I think you look good! But I do agree with the shoes comment, haha...but thats only because your pants are cropped, if you had shorts or a skirt I don't think it would have looked the same ;)

Casual, but chic. That necklace really makes this outfit - love.

I think it looks really cute! I'm not such a fan of the shoes though, I've never liked the cuffs around the ankle. A pair of flats would easily remedy the problem!

Oh it's not bad! Definitely not the most flattering but sometimes it's fun to be a rule breaker and just try something for the fun/comfort of it. You still look more stylish than most people I know, lol!

I actually like this outfit a lot! You don't look fat at all! I have fat days sometimes too, but seriously, you look way cute :) don't be too hard on yourself.

LittleLovables said...

Fo reals, you are crazy girl,. this is prob one of my favorite outfits! Yeah, the double horizontal of the shoes and rolled cuffs are a little shortening (which is usually a big deal to me since I'm like 4'11), but you can still rock it.

I don't think it is possible for you to look either fat or frumpy. You are too little and too cute for that. Actually you look pretty cute in this outfit.

okay, totally disagree! Comparing this outfit to the jeans with flats down below, I think this is actually lengthening- which is good, cuz I usually wear flats with boyfriend jeans and I now have those shoe and will wear them instead! I think I owe my new tsubo love to you, now that I think about it...
