Heyyy....... (That was my excitement dissolving..) I'm just so tired right now. I worked out my butt for like two hours straight at the gym tonight so I need someone to massage it. Don't worry... I wasn't asking you. I'm not that weird.

I enjoy androgynous looks. I feel the most comfortable in them. I've always liked men's clothes and looser clothing in general. I promise I'm all female.

And please... No complaints about the hallway pictures today...especially because my neighbor stepped out of his apartment right in front of me as I was taking these so it was awkward...and then we had to wait for the elevator together and then it got even more awkward.

I'm wearing a Collection B jacket ($55 - buy similar!), scarf from Vietnam (gift from T - buy similar!), J.Crew factory shirt (gift from my mom - buy similar!), Zara pants ($20), JCPenney belt (free with gift cards - buy it!), and Target clogs (gift from my in-laws).

You have a gorgeous hallway, with gorgeous lighting. I say, take as may pictures there as you want!
ReplyDeleteI love the androgynous look on you! You can definitely pull it off while still looking feminine. I, on the other hand, just look like a boy because of my short hair, haha.
ReplyDeleteOh! And your fringe-y scarf is really cute!
Really love this look. The heels and the scarf simply elevate the look and add just that right amount of femininity.
ReplyDeleteperfection. everything about your ensemble works, and i love the hallway pictures!
ReplyDeleteLove the outfit! Those pants are stellar. And the scarf. Okay, I just like all of it.
ReplyDeleteI like the photos. I like androgynous looks. They really suit you. I like menswear looks on myself but I have to stick to tailored stuff. If I wear baggy clothes someone always ends up asking if I'm pregnant or something. Which is not my cup of tea.
ReplyDeleteMy Heart Blogged
I usually dislike the hallway pictures since they're so washed out but you're still pretty vibrant and clear here! Win win. It's probably all about the time of the day and the angle of the picture. I love this outfit too, it's really simple and comfy.
ReplyDeleteLike how simple this is :) You still look feminine with the heels, and so stylish!
ReplyDeletevery cool outfit~
ReplyDeleteSo cool and collected!
ReplyDeleteYou always pull these looks perfectly!! I love it.
ReplyDeletei love this look! simple but chic, i love how the pants hit right at the ankle, they look great with the heels :)
ReplyDeleteFashion Bag 411
You look chic - there is no way anyone would think you were not a beautiful female. I think I am going to copy your outfit tomorrow... or at least soon! Cheers!
ReplyDeleteI LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this outfit! (Is that enough capital loves?)
ReplyDeleteI think I love every outfit you pair with those shoes. They are my favorite.

ReplyDeletei'm loving the pants. pleats done well totally work. and you pull them off. love it.
ReplyDeleteAndrogynous looks are my favorite too. I especially love how you look in these photos :) What do you do at the gym? I always feel like I don't stay long enough! LOL
ReplyDeleteTaking pictures can be so awkward sometimes! :D Yesterday I took some pictures in a nearby forrest (in leather shorts and kneesocks) and I believe that half of the retired passerbys thought I was a 'working' girl :D

ReplyDeleteCheck out my blog: Principessa Gabriella
I'm loving this androgynous look - you pull it off really well, it looks great on you. :) I can understand about the neighbors - I haven't ventured outside my room to take outfit photos, haha.
ReplyDeletethis looks great together!! the length of the pants definitely give it that girlish edge! thanks for sharing about your awkwardness, thats too cute!!
ReplyDeleteWell thank you for going through awkwardness for these photos. You look cute in this outfit :)
ReplyDeleteThe pants look great! for some reason Zara pants never fit me properly...
ReplyDeleteI love the look though :)
Loooove this outfit!!! You look so amazing :D You pull off the androgynous look well
ReplyDeletehttp://www.closet-fashionista.com/
Oh I love this look on you. Can't be androgynous if you're wearing gorgeous strappy heels though, surely? ;-)
ReplyDeleteI love, love, love this look. I feel like I can never pull off androgynous looks well, but I often have outfit envy when other people do. This is me having outfit envy.
ReplyDeleteI lve the slouchy pants. I feel that if you dress more masculine, it only enhances you femininity. Cute outfit!

Those pants are fabulous! Wow $20 from Zara.. I hardly ever manage to grab such a deal. And actually I love the hallway pictures, the light gives such a beautiful effect from behind.
ReplyDeleteHaha, was a great start to the morning. Those shoes add the perfect touch of feminine to every outfit and I love them with those pants. Adorable as usual.
ReplyDeleteNo way you'd ever look like a boy. You're too cute. Love the pants and I'm a scarf addict. I cannot get enough of them.
ReplyDeleteAh the joys of awkwardly taking photos in front of other people! This is an awesome outfit for it though - love the clogs.

I love this look.... and the shoes makes it THAT much better! :-)
ReplyDeleteYou look fantastic! You can completely rock the androgynous look. And those clogs are great and definitely look way more upscale than Target.
ReplyDeleteI love the clothes you wear!! So cute! I wish I had some cute stuff to wear. For some reason I feel that since I am home all day with 3 kids, I don't need to look cute. I know that's a myth, but that's how I feel!
ReplyDeleteAnd I'm impressed you work out for HOURS! I'm lucky to get 30 minutes each day!!
OMG, you look amazing! I love this look, and don't worry, you definitely look female. Also, call me crazy, but I really like the hallway photos. It's a nice change-up, and the wooden floor is sweet.
ReplyDeleteNorth Meets South
Actually, I like these hall pictures! They are different and kinda cool with the sunlight coming in through that window!
ReplyDeleteLidi @ Eclectic Flair
Ha ha oh those neighbors, mine always go out the second I start shooting, not cool, although I liked the indoor pics of today! ... Have to say those pants are amazing on you, they look very manly, you know how to rock the androgyne look so well!

Your neighbor should be grateful....could be worse!
ReplyDeleteSuch a great casual look! Love it!
ReplyDeleteI couldn't be more in love with this simple, androgynous (yet feminine!) look on you.
ReplyDeleteI too, favor a trouser to a skirt.
And seriously, as awkward as your neighborly encounter was- these shots look a m a z i n g in the hallway. I love the locale :)
Enjoy wearing the pants today,
Haiku Ambulance (although, the weird Yahoo avatar will tell you otherwise...)
I love it. The tough masculine look with heels is so darn cute on you.
ReplyDeleteI really like this look! So comfortable but still cool. And I happen to love the hallway pictures and have missed them dearly!
ReplyDeleteThank you! And I think I will!!
ReplyDeleteI challenge you! You should do it as a Rule Breaking Monday post!!!
ReplyDeleteThanks, I was hoping for that!
ReplyDeleteThank you thank you!
ReplyDeleteHahah thanks!
ReplyDeleteIs this a compliment??
ReplyDeleteYeah, I had to add something visibily feminine besides the boobs.
ReplyDeleteThank you!
ReplyDeleteThanks!
ReplyDeleteThanks!
ReplyDeleteThanks Liana!
ReplyDeleteAw, thank you! Do it! I wanna see!
ReplyDeleteThank you!!!!
ReplyDeleteThanks!
ReplyDeleteWow, thanks so much!
ReplyDeleteGood, I hope not! Because I already have man hands and a man-ish face!
ReplyDeleteI like hallway pictures! This is a great outfit on you, love the shoes for a feminine touch. Sorry you had an awkward elevator ride with your neighbor, tell him to follow your blog, problem solved!
ReplyDeleteThanks.
ReplyDeleteThank you!
ReplyDeleteYeah, that was totally awkward.. I mean, I had my tripod and a big camera so it's not like I can truly explain myself without looking like a weirdo! So I didn't say anything..
ReplyDeleteThank you!!
ReplyDeleteAhahaha of course silly! I was just saying that I'm usually one of those silent people who don't like hall way pictures, but this particular set of pictures is super sharp and clear. Love it. And I love this outfit for the simple and comfy aspect. Tees and pants are always always better with a scarf and heels.
ReplyDeleteHa! Thanks :). Yeah, it was cloudy yesterday and then a few rays peeked through which is why that one picture is so bright.
ReplyDeleteThank you!
ReplyDeleteYeah, I take classes. If you leave me in a gym without anyone there to aid me, I would leave right when your back is turned! Right now, I am taking a jumprope class (sooo hard, jumproping is underestimated!!), booty class (for the one above), aerobics class, and yoga. It's different every day so I really like it!
ReplyDeleteHahahahh! Too funny!
ReplyDeleteThanks!
ReplyDeleteGood! Thanks!
ReplyDeleteYou should!! It's not bad once you get over the awkwardness and sometimes staring.
ReplyDeleteThanks! Glad you enjoyed it ;)
ReplyDeleteThank you!
ReplyDeleteThese were the only pants I tried on and they magically fit!! I hate shopping for pants.
ReplyDeleteThank you!
ReplyDeleteI had to sneak in something girly to make sure people knew I wasn't a man!
ReplyDeleteOh, you could totally pull off androgynous looks!
ReplyDeleteWise words!
ReplyDeleteThank you!
ReplyDeleteThank you!
ReplyDeleteOh, thank you!
ReplyDeleteI knwo, right?? Thanks!
ReplyDeleteThanks! Yes, those shoes are the BOMB.
ReplyDeleteSeriously! Who knew Target had such great things!!!
ReplyDeleteYou can totally look cute! I already know what my mommy uniform is gonna be.. leggings and maxi dresses!
ReplyDeleteThank you!!
ReplyDeleteI think so too :)
ReplyDeleteOh, that's horrible.. hahaha!
ReplyDeleteYes, it could...
ReplyDeleteThanks!
ReplyDeleteOh, thanks Zoe!
ReplyDeleteThank you :)
ReplyDeleteOh, thanks!!!!
ReplyDeleteHahahah, must try that..
ReplyDeleteI love this type of look, it's my favorite. Those pants are to die for you always look so chic!
ReplyDeletesavannah-joyofliving.blogspot.com
Thanks Savannah!
ReplyDeleteI really love those pants! I am always nervous to wear pants that have the pleats near the top but you wear them SO well! And they go perfectly with your shoes.

Thanks! I actually prefer pants with pleats! The flat ones make me look...flat.
ReplyDeleteGreat look. I love the trousers. I have a few pairs like that now: I really need to wear them more.
ReplyDeleteThanks!
ReplyDeleteWhat a great outfit.
ReplyDeleteI've always wanted to pull off the whole androgynous look, but my incredibly pear-shaped body makes it difficult. THIGHS, Y U NO FLATTER ME?
Hahahaha!!
ReplyDeleteLove it! Simple & chic!
ReplyDeleteThank you!
ReplyDeleteNeighbor awkwardness. I hope someone was in the elevator with you guys! Eeek!
ReplyDeleteJust Better Together
sometimes. mens wear is all i do. until my teacher marks me as absent, because he taught i was the boy who sits next to me.
ReplyDeleteYou're kidding!
ReplyDeleteYou rock menswear so well. You always look so feminine in it.
ReplyDeleteLove the look! Those pants are great! And I must say I've always liked your hallway shots... I like how the sun shines through that window behind you.
ReplyDeleteYay for the hallway--and awkward moments. =)
ReplyDeleteWhy would anyone complain about the hallways photos? Those are my favorite always :) The lighting in your hallway always makes me swoon.
ReplyDeleteI think this outfit is great! Not really as androgynous as you think it is, since you are so pretty! :)
ReplyDeletehttp://work-it-blog.blogspot.com/
Oh, thank you!!
ReplyDeleteThis is absolutely one of my favorite outfits now. It's perfect! I might need to mimic it. LOVE.
ReplyDeletehahaha when I hear movement during my hallways pictures I immediately sprint back inside my apartment, I'm not sure why most of the outdoor pictures and taken right outside my building and plenty of people see me doing that...
