This outfit is like whatever

Mmm, didn't really like this outfit. It may have to do with the fact that I had to untie my scarf-belt every time I went to the bathroom which is like every hour so it got pretty annoying fast. I've got to the point of just letting it hang loose. The scarf, sickos.

  1. Umm, I totally love this outfit. In fact, I think it's one of my favorites so far. I really wish I had those pants.

  2. Your scarf belt is way cute. Sorry it got annoying, but it definitely added a bit of whimsy the outfit.

  3. Haha, I love that I'm not the only one who has to go to the bathroom all the time ;)
    Love the outfit! :D

  5. This outfit is gorgeous! I really like it, but maybe it's because I'm not the one who has to untie the scarf all the time though :)

  6. I bet that did get irritating! Haha! Love the shirt... and the pants... whatever I love the whole outfit. Haha! :)

  7. I LOVE this outfit! It's so cute, and I love how the scarf adds a touch of color.

  8. sorry you dislike your outfit cuz i think it's super cute!

  9. I love it! Yellow is perfect with black and grey.

  10. I love your outfit and the scarf keeps it cheery with the yellow pop of color. It sounds like a pain to retie that scarf, but it's probably about the same deal with a belt. =)

  11. I can understand the annoyance of un-tying and re-tying the scarf, but I still love the outfit!

  12. haha well i love your pants. the other day i had on tights, a romper, a pull-over sweater, and a belt. i had the exact same problem as you! after i went to the bathroom once i realized that i needed to change something..

  13. I understand when clothes can get annoying! I wore a floral romper to DisneyWorld a few months ago, and I swear I was in the bathroom every hour... and had to pull the entire thing down.

  14. i totally love this outfit too! the scarf is the perfect cheerful addition. i guess what makes for good outfit photos isn't necessarily what makes for practical bathroom wear. :\

  15. Love your quirks. I too have to be doing something when I brush my teeth. My dentist told me I have to brush for at least 2 min...and in 2 min I can do a lot of stuff. For example: Heat up a Hot Pocket (weird if I'm brushing my teeth while I cook food), watch Al Roker's weather segment on the Today show, run a little less than a quarter of a mile. You get the point.

  16. I dont understand why you dont like it!! My best friend has to go to the bathroom allllll the time, so im always waiting on her!! Haha!! I agree that the belt adds a nice splash of color!

  17. I tried a belted situation the other day...not great for going to the bathroom. I felt like I had to "fix" everything over and over. But it was super cute and so is your outfit!

  18. Ooh I LOVE this outfit :) Of course, I am not the one having to tie and untie frequently for loo breaks haha ;)
Oh and I loved reading the quirks. Way fun :)

  19. Quite like your striped tee. I just feel the pants are too gathered at the waist but I could be wrong. Of course, love those shoes too!

  20. You know, the more you wear those pants, the more I like them! They're very modest and feminine at the same time!

  23. I say this every time you wear them.... but I love these pants. And even if the belt annoyed you, I love the little poop it gives the outfit. Cute :)

  24. Awww, I don't know why you didn't like this outfit! It's so flattering! I'm tempted to try a pair of these pants myself after seeing how good they look on you! :)

  25. Maybe if you weren't so klassy and drinking so much Perrier, you wouldn't have to pee so much and then you would like this outfit more because you do look quite nice!!!

  27. Hang Loose xD ahhahaahha, your posts are the highlight of my day! I thought the belt looked really cute, a nice pop of color, but I know what you mean, its like that one thing that gets messed up REALLY fast so you spend the rest of they day fixing it, and you get sooo annoyed... anyway, you look tall in the second to last picture!

    Cheers!

  29. If I was the one who had to tie the scarf-belt all the time, I'd soon be fed up with it, too. However, I have to say it's pretty. It's an eye-catcher among the neutral colours and it goes very well with these trousers.

  35. These pants look perfect with the striped shirt!

  36. Loved the post about your quirks. I love change as well.
This is a lovely outfit. The trousers look pretty cool. And the scarf as a belt is a great look, even if it does get annoying.

  37. I definitely love the scarf as a belt with these pants, even if they're troublesome. Just sayin'! It adds some visual interest and color to an otherwise stylish but blandly-colored outfit. I love the pants with the "clogs."

By the way, WHY are those shoes considered "clogs?" I asked Closet Fashionista the same thing and she didn't know.

  38. Well, it looks super cute. I hate when cute outfits just aren't functional - so lame.
Also, I love that you can wear pants with that much going on at the waist and hip and you still look slim and gorgeous. Amazing!

  39. haha, I actually really like this outfit. We were almost twinners yesterday with our pants and striped shirts :)

  42. I love this outfit! The stripes are adorable (I'm slightly obsessed) and I love the pop of color from your scarf belt. They look cute, but I agree they make it annoying as the day goes on.

    ReplyDelete
  43. It's a "go for a stroll outside outfit".

    ReplyDelete
  44. Well hanging loose or not, it's a nice splash of color on your outfit. I've been thinking about maybe documenting some of my outfits lately. But then I remember I'm not stylish. At all. But, I should be more adventurous with my choices!

  45. Wow! This looks darling on you, I know I could never get away with the waistline on the pants but I love the look. I've been away and missed reading your blog, I loved the quirks also:)

  48. So we're never going to see you in one of those stupid rompers? Good to know. Great outfit!

  49. I have the exact same problem when wearing sashes with pants! It's ok for skirts because going to the bathroom is easy, but the untying and retying sure gets old after awhile. It's not cheating as long as the sash is nice and prettily tied for blog pics ;)

  50. i was thinking when you got these pants that they would look aaahh-mazing with a striped shirt! and they do.
