Are you guys sick of me wearing my husband's clothes yet? Don't worry.. I'm not getting dressed tomorrow and I've already worn all of Chase's things that fit me. I'm just so sick of my clothes!! My problem is I have no shirts because 92% are Hanes t-shirts (trust me, I'm a doctor). Maybe I should make it a project next week to style those shirts in as many ways as I can. Or not. Whatevs.

Have you noticed my outfits this week have been getting more casual every day? I think I'm slowly accepting the fact that I can wear jeans to work...and heels...because I take like 5 steps a day. I should probably work out more. I'm thinking ankle weights.

You see all those brown spots? That's POOP. Chase stepped in it and I was trying not to step on his leftovers.. That's why I'm kind of laughing here, but not because it's gross.

What are you guys doing tonight? I'm gonna hop in the shower and get rid of this nasty hat hair and cuddle with Chaser-bug while watching The Social Network (how is it?). Hope you guys have a great weekend! Come back tomorrow for Getting to Know You Saturday. I don't know what the question will be yet but it'll probably be amazing.
I'm wearing a red beanie (c/o SLiM Motif), my husband's cardigan ($20), my husband's H&M shirt (for sale here!), Gap cami ($7), secondhand BDG jeans, and Target clogs (gift from my in-laws).

Cute casual look! I should borrow some of the boyfriend's clothes - you style them so well!

I love that hat and casual outfits = comfy = happy. Ha ha. I actually go to Forever21 and buy men's shirts from the sale rack because they fit nice and are cheaper! Yay for taking over guys' closets.
ReplyDeleteReally like how you styled the shirt! The Social Network is okay.. pretty long but not bad .. obviously you'll like it more if you like tech-related stuff. x
ReplyDeletehave you seen the office episode where dwight suggests to andy that he squeeze his buttcheeks together to relieve pressure from his knees? oyu could do a workout routine like that. it's perfect.
ReplyDeleteHow cute! I think it's adorable when someone borrows their husbands clothes. :) And I especially love how you mix casual pieces with heels! It looks so cool and effortless!
ReplyDeleteMy evening was spent eating delicious Japenese food (made by Will) and reading. Nothing too exciting, but exactly what I needed.

ReplyDeletei like the casual looks you create, by the way
casual chic is my fav, you look great in hubby's clothes :) I just stole a shirt from my Dad's closet (from centuries ago) and I just might wear it tom :)
ReplyDeleteI love this! I wish I could wear my boy's clothes, but I can never make it work! He's too muscle-y and I'm too...not.
ReplyDeleteLindseySoup
Those Target heels are the cutest shoes everrr. I'm seriously considering buying them. Are they comfortable (I mean, for heels)?
ReplyDeleteSo awesome that you and your honey can share clothes. :)
for reals... you.are.gorgeous!
ReplyDeletei LOVE every piece of this attire. I think I love heels and jeans even more than a dress and heels. It's just SO STINKIN' CUTE!! You look lovely :)
Tonight Dude-Man and I tried to go on a date. There was no parking at Texas Roadhouse so we went to Cafe Rio and there was no parking there either. We tried to see a movie but the lines were out the door. We ended up at Coney's and had "Chicago" Hot Dogs. Not the best date but the time spent talking in the car, Priceless.
ReplyDeleteToday I wore purple socks with black flats and skinny jeans, all inspired by you.
i love this look! casual but something about it says you know fashion!! win win
ReplyDeletexx
I love the casual ease of this outfit and the sassy twist the shoes add. You look great in those jeans too.
ReplyDeleteBTW, I know your old roommate Jamie from when she lived here in California. Small world!
I love casual outfits...you'll notice most of the posts I do are all casual, haha. I saw the Social Network a while back when it came out, and I left the theater so angry. Made me hate FB more than I already do! But, it was definitely an interesting film and a great look into the mind of MZ.

It's a great shirt. I'm loving your casual outfits. I'm really inspired.
ReplyDeleteThe hat's colour is really great as well. I'm wearing more beanies as it's so cold and I'm suffering from major hat hair.
This might be the first outfit post ever with poop in it! Awesome!:D

I really like that hat! It's also nice to see you wearing jeans more often. I like to know how to style them better.
ReplyDeleteYou are lucky you can raid your hubs' closer - and they look so good on you!
ReplyDeleteyeah! styling all of your Hanes shirts different ways sounds like a fun challenge :)
ReplyDeleteThis is such a cute outfit. I wish I could borrow from the bf, but he has over a foot of height and almost 100 lbs on me so that just doesn't work.
ReplyDeleteI was cracking up when I read this...."it's poop." You are so blunt and I love that about you!
ReplyDeleteCasual is good if it is styled as well as you do it. Where I work people come every day in Mom jeans, tee shirts and tennis shoes. Yuck! So glad that skinny jeans are in and who looks better in them than you. Love the shoes!
ReplyDeleteCute! I love the cardigan!
ReplyDeleteMy kids and I have a TON of hanes white tee-shirts. They actually make a great base for fabric paints, sequins, feathers, or whatever else we feel like doing. You could always pick up some inexpensive fabric paint and design your shirt the way you want! TONS of fun. :)
ReplyDeletehi,i love menswear as girlswear too,the shoes by the way are great! :)

Social Network is an alright movie. It was good, but not -GOOD- you know? :P Haha.
ReplyDeleteAnyway. I like this outfit. I wish I could wear my bf's clothes haha.
Wow, I just want to cut your whole blog out and put it on my inspiration board! You definitely mastered cute and casual here!
ReplyDeletesimple t-shirts are actually a good base, especially if they are kind of large. You can re-work them, dye them, print them, whatever.
ReplyDeletei liket the casualness with the heels. ubercool.

i totally covet your legs right now. there's this beautiful white space in between your thighs...i wish i had that white space. i'm hoping i can get that white space back after this kid comes out. love the outfit, perfect amount of casual and your own style.
ReplyDeletep.s. you should totally do a project with your shirts!
Loving the casual look! Women in menswear is totally in right now, so you keep taking clothes from your hubby! HAHA
ReplyDeleteIt might be casual but I live a casual life. I have a hard time styling jeans, jeans, and more jeans. I know it's boring but it's freezing here, and we have had tons of snow today.
ReplyDeleteMy Heart Blogged
This outfit is adorable. I like how you styled your man's clothes. I borrow my fiance's comfies, but I haven't figured out how to casually bring his nice clothes home with me. :)
ReplyDeleteAlso, I reworked the blue form of your pink JCPenney necklace. It's my most recent blog. I think yours is cuter with the two necklaces made into one, but I like how mine turned out! Thanks for the idea! :)

I love love love love LOVE (love!) everything about this outfit!
ReplyDeleteIt's great that you can wear his clothes! Do you shop his clothes or does he? I read an article this week that indicated that most wives select their husband's clothes. I don't, but I do tag along when HE is shopping.
ReplyDeleteI love that you wear his clothes. I can share a few things, but not everything. I shouldn't admit this, but I can't fit into a lot of his things. Embarrassing. But I'm a tall girl. And he's a short asian. It happens.
ReplyDeleteThe hat looks great. The jeans and heals are a perfect match. You look casual. But fashionable casual.
The Auspicious Life
Lovely outfit!
ReplyDeleteGreat blog btw, love the design :D

ReplyDeleteYou're "casual" makes me feel OK about wearing casual sometimes, too. I LOVE this combination. You're seriously making me think I NEED a chambray shirt, too!
ReplyDeletei'm so jealous that you're wearing open toed sandals!!! so many mornings i wake up and think "i wish i lived in l.a." then we could be BFF and i could wear open toed sandals, too.
ReplyDeletei love the denim on denim--i keep thinking that i have to try that--this week it will happen!
You look incredibly great in that hat. I mean incredibly great.
ReplyDeleteLove that you're getting in touch with your casual side!
