My outfit from yesterday was inspired by EmersonMade. I've got her signature flared jeans and big flower down. I had to make up the rest.

I got a lot of stares today with a few compliments mixed in. The stares creeped me out. I don't know what you're staring at. I am just really hoping it's my flower. If it's not, you are probably a creep. And by probably, I mean absolutely.

My husband and I went to LACMA last night. It is free after 5 for L.A. residents...AKA the poor people. There was so much to see and so little time. I was also wearing heels and had already met my 5-step quota for the day so I wasn't about to go walk a marathon inside a museum. We're so cultured.
I'm wearing a flower headband (giveaway win from Wanderlustings) pinned on a thrifted blazer ($3), JCPenney shirt (free with gift cards), secondhand Gap jeans ($9), Target clogs (gift from my in-laws), and JCPenney bag (free with gift cards).

I honestly hope/think it's the flower that they're staring at. ;) I know that I never have the problem of people staring at my chest [insert inappropriate I-have-an-Asian-body joke], haha.

ReplyDeleteI also like free museum days-- for one thing, the hours are longer. I think all museums should be free! That's why I love D.C.
Lovely outfit! I have got to find myself a pair of jeans like those! :)
ReplyDeleteI'd think it would be the gorgeous flower :D I was transifxed with it there for a bit :)
ReplyDeleteThere is just no point sprinting through museums anyway. Might as well just do a little bit at a time and actually look at the art rather than race through. Thumbs up for your step quota :)
I'd definitely be one of those people staring at you, but of course I'd compliment you so much probably I'd even hug you, loved the outfit, flower totally gives life to it, think otherwise I would've been just a "nicely put together outfit" ... You accessorizing is always great!
