Paparazzi Perhaps

I stole Chase's shirt today. He was sleeping so it's okay. It's the same shirt he wore here. I basically stole his whole outfit! This isn't the first time we've dressed similar (at different times). So who wore it best? Just wanted to clarify... This shirt shrunk in the wash and doesn't fit Chase anymore, which is why I wore it instead!

I originally wanted to wear a necklace with this outfit but the neckline on this shirt is all weird. So I decided earrings were probably the best way to go. I wanted to go BIG and BOLD but didn't like how my longer earrings almost mimicked the loose hair around my face so I went with my bow earrings for some subtle cutsieness. I'm glad I did. Sometimes it's the little details that count!

Found another easy hairstyle - a loose braid! I have layered hair and I like having the little (and later in the day, the longer) hairs slip out. Then throughout the day I would bobby pin it to keep it in place. Perfect hair is BORING! I like things natural - which is why I don't usually have my hair up. It's also better for my hair as it won't fall out as much.

I'm wearing a Collection B jacket ($55), my husband's H&M shirt ($5), bow earrings (giveaway win from LemonJitters), secondhand BDG jeans ($10), Tsubo shoes (courtesy of Tsubo), and JCPenney bag (free with gift card).

  1. Cute! I love how you can pull off wearing your hubby's clothes. I don't think I could wear guys clothes anywhere nearly as cute as you can. :)

  26. You rock my socks, well actually I'm not wearing socks, but I am wearing tights. So I guess you rock my tights. Which doesn't sound quite right. Stealing mens' clothes is awesome. They make them so much more comfy than ours..not fair! Love this whole look, and basically your lookf for the past few days. You can put anything together and make it look like it was made for each other...Love!

  30. That's because Chase is skinny like you lol. My husband is WAY taller and way bigger than me, so wearing his clothes would be hideous (good for modesty's sake though)!

Yeah, I like hair to be natural too. I don't do anything too special with my hair.

    Your shoes are cute!

  31. I love your outfit! whenever I steel my hubby's shirts they look big (and he's actually not a big guy--5'7)...did you pinch it in the back to make it more fitted? Is there a trick?

  32. I steal my husband's clothes sometimes. It is fun to have another wardrobe to raid.

  33. Love the outfit! My husband just gave me a bunch of his old shirts, and I can't wait to style them up. Also love those shoes!

  42. oo, i agree with having "imperfect" hair, because natural is totally better! i'll have to try out the loose braid (:

    ReplyDelete
  43. Okay. so I braided my hair this morning, and just now when I looked in the mirror, there was more hair OUT of the braid than in. So much for "imperfect" hair.

I love the skinnies and those tsubo shoes. I never thought they would go with skinny pants, but they do! :)

  46. I really like the jacket but I love the bag!I will have to check out J. C. Penny I didn't know they carried such cute bags, and by the way you can't tell that your shirt is a guys.It looks great.

    ReplyDelete
  47. I would never have expected JCP to have such a beautiful bag!

I'm also a fan of slightly messy hair, it feels more effortless. (However, I'm also a fan of the sleek ponytail - apparently I like it all!)

  48. This is the kind of post I think would benefit from a detail shot. I'm DYING to know what the earrings look like! :D
