This was my back-up outfit. My first outfit sucked so this is what I wore instead. I always make a back-up outfit when I have an iffy outfit. In cases like this, I almost always wear the back-up outfit...like always. And they're usually a lot better than the first. But it takes me longer to get to bed because I have to come up with TWO outfits. Life is so hard sometimes.

I'm wearing all classic pieces here since I'm so classy.

I wouldn't have minded if my bow was bigger...than my head. But that would've made it floppy. And when I think of floppy, I think of ears.

I got these earrings for $1 at a garage sale from an old lady over the summer. She had tons of jewelry but I was really poor back then so just chose two pairs of earrings. They're a little heavier than I'm used to but it's nothing like these babies.
I'm wearing a JCPenney trenchcoat (free with gift cards), vintage earrings ($1), Gap shirt ($12), secondhand Gap jeans ($9), Target clogs (gift from my in-laws), and JCPenney bag (free with gift cards).

Buy: bowler bag, shoes

Howdy! I'm a new follower & I love the inspiration! This outfit is killer!! I almost always go with my back up too :)
ReplyDeleteI love those jeans!
ReplyDeleteHey, just wanted to let you know that I nominated you for a stylish blogger award because I really like your blog! It's here - http://healthandhappinessinla.blogspot.com/2011/01/stylish-blogger-award-dr-praegers.html
It's kind of crazy what a big difference hair makes. Your bun ties it all together, and if you'd worn your hair differently, I don't think the outfit would have been as awesome. Still awesome, but not as awesome. Yap.
ReplyDeletePretty, I love those jeans!
ReplyDeleteLove the classy look! Love the jeans, and I have a weak spot for blouses. Love that too. Heck, I love it all! :)
ReplyDeleteI love this!! You defiantly look classy. The red lip is beautiful!!
ReplyDeleteclassy classy lady!! and i think i can totally copy this outfit. and it is a plus with the wide leg pants because of the lovely huge bandages on my foot!
ReplyDeleteI believe I have those exact same jeans but in a lighter wash. And they look great on you! You just motivated me to brush off the dust bunnies from my pair (I'm not a huge jeans person) and I hope they still fit!
