Well, anyone would be kute in this sepia cargo jacket. It's my favorite item from KUTE Clothes. It's not all "Look at me! I like to pretend to be in the military so I can fit in." but the details are subtle and simple so you can still wear it after the military trend is long gone.
I'd wear this with leggings, an oversized sweater, and boots for a quick and comfy outfit. What would you wear it with?

Have you guys heard of Warby Parker glasses? I first heard of them from The Girls with Glasses Show. I've been hooked ever since. I mean, $100 for a pair of prescription glasses?? I think a new pair of glasses would be a great way to celebrate the big two-three. Here are some of my faves..
I love that they have free home try-ons with free shipping and returns. Which one do you think I should get? I'm leaning towards the fourth because my cheeks are big and I need smaller lens glasses. (I found these through their "shop by face shape" widget!)

I've been fortunate enough to be able to make some money off of my blog. It's not enough to solely support me and my husband, but to us it's still a blessing. It's because of all of you that we have been so blessed. So thank you for coming to my blog and clicking on the ads because it has helped me and Chase when we had nothing but your clicks for our income.

The biggest chunk of my blog income comes from my sponsors. However, it's also the most unpredictable. Some months I will have seven sponsors. Other months I'll only have one.
The best part about being sponsored is you can set your own prices. Sometimes they'll say no because it's too expensive, sometimes they just won't answer back. If you're not sure how much to charge, start with your CPM (cost-per-mille - mille meaning 1,000 in Latin). You calculate your CPM by dividing the advertising cost by your monthly page views in the thousands. For example, if you have 100,000 page views and you are charging $100 for an ad, you would do this: $100 / 100 views = $1 CPM. It's good to stay around the $1 CPM range.
If you're a smaller blogger and your hits aren't in the thousands yet, don't bet on getting a lot of sponsors. Rely on these following programs instead:

I've been getting comments on what I do to my face because I mean, come on... I always look flawless. Answer: No, I don't. I have horrible skin thanks to my parents' DNA. I have combination skin - oily in humid environments and dry in drier climates AND my skin is superduper sensitive so I constantly break out in rashes, redness, or pimples (still). I'm constantly buying and returning products because I find out months later that I'm allergic to them! Yeah, it totally sucks. But here are some of the products I'm using and that I'm currently not allergic to (I think):

It seems a few of you don't realize how much work goes into one outfit post. It usually takes me an hour to an hour and a half to do one. Here is a print-screen-by-print-screen of what I do for an outfit post.
1. I get the pictures from that day from the memory card and put it in my outfits folder. At the moment, I have 9,271 pictures from the past year and a half of blogging. I usually need at least a hundred pictures (once it was up to 500) but now that I have to take my pictures in the morning, it's been around 50 pictures in 5 minutes. I've been lucky enough to have a lot of good pictures in such a short amount of time because I'm not a morning person. I then look through all of them and choose three to five that I like.
