If you follow me on Twitter or Facebook, you may have heard that my husband's been fired as my outfit photographer. He's been super busy with school and comes home late every night...hence, the hallway and night pics. I'm hoping there aren't any hard feelings between us. I think he's already over it. I just bought a remote off ebay and we have a tripod so in theory this should work. But the remote is coming from Hong Kong and our tripod is missing a leg so probably not.

I've had this William Riera dress for a while. I wear his dresses all the time around the house but not very often for the blog. I wore it out on Saturday night for the General Relief Society Meeting. Wasn't it amazing? I just felt so spiritually enriched and nourished afterwards. I went down to San Diego to visit my sister-in-law and her family a couple of days ago. It was nice to get away from applying to and getting rejected from jobs. Sometimes you need a break from doing nothing. It's exhausting.

I recently bought this skirt online because I loved the origami detailing. I got it in my usual size but woe to me, it doesn't hug my body - it hangs from it. The skirt slip peeks out every time I bend to sit down. The fabric feels cheap. So this means I should return it, yes?

A few weeks ago I received this beautiful headband I won from Wanderlustings. I am not a headband person as you may have noticed (because I have a big head), but I really wanted it to adorn my hat. I love it. I think it completes my hat and my hat completes it. Do you wear headbands? I'm starting to reconsider it because of my bangs.

We went to a Korean BBQ restaurant with some friends tonight and I needed something that would transition from day to the chilly night (and to stuff my face). The boyfriend jeans worked for the stuffing of the face but not the stripes....such a horrible choice, I know. But it went so well with the outfit that I figured if I sucked my tummy in for a little, the food baby would go away. It didn't...which is why I'm hunched over.

Sometimes I pick out my clothes the night before. Sometimes I wear it and sometimes I don't. Sometimes I have no idea what I'm wearing the next day at all. Sometimes I just want to wear one article of clothing. Sunday was one of those days. I wanted to wear this blazer, belted. I went along with a nautical theme with the stripes and white skirt. But I also didn't want it to be too nautical so I chose tan accessories.

Chase and I went to the Getty Center last night for date night. It was spontaneous and, most importantly, FREE. I didn't realize how expensive dates were until I got married and realized I had to pay for my half now too. BOO. What are some of your favorite date nights on the cheap? Ours is cleaning.
