Last Shindig

Tonight's our last night in Sac-town. Sad face. Not ready to go back to real life. For our last shindig with the fam, Chase and I (and my bro-in-law and mother-in-law) went to see my father-in-law perform in a little musical theatre show...and we got a little bored. We're 20-somethings going on 10.
And this is the hot 23 year-old me.

There are not so many people who can pull off a paper bag waist with such panache. I love this outfit on you! Plus, the bow is great on the side. It errs on the side of cuteness (I know you hate that word; sorry!) to keep the outfit fun and fancy.

I just wondered how the whole hot thing, works with modest mormons. I am serious, not slamming. Is it ok to be hot and sexy if you don't wear low things? Are legs ok, but not boobs? I am not familiar with Mormons and come from a conservative background. I grew up with some of the same kinds of restrictions but we were not allowed to try to be sexy. It seems like Mormons are ok with sexy, not revealing. Am I right? You can respond privately, since my goal is not to be a hater or to rag on you.. Just an honest question, I promise. Thank you

No way, you're 23?? I don't know why I thought you were older (but that doesn't mean you look old! haha!) That makes you a year older than me. I need to stop thinking that the entire blogging world is way older and more experienced than me. Because really, it's just not true. Great outfit!

RicAdeMus said...

Why do people have to steal my thoughts before I have them??? Rainy Days and Lattes said it perfectly, except I do not want your pants and you pretty much always look pretty--it's just nice to see you smiling! =)

Happy New Year--I hope you and Chase have an uneventful return trip.

I just found this outfit through Kendi's blog and I can totally see why she had to have those pants. They're beautiful!

I think I might make one of my New Year's resolutions to own more pants. I currently have none. Wait, do jeans count? Then I have 3.

I know.
