I like to play with my hair...a lot

I went shopping and used my own money for the first time in months yesterday. (Yay.) I hit up the town's JCPenney (lame) and then went to the obnoxiously ginormous Forever 21. And I bought stuff. I'll show you later, maybe.

It is no surprise that I love wearing men's clothes. It looks good when it's done right...like on me, obvi. I'm pretty sure Chase has worn this sweater only once. My new rule is if I wear something of his more than he does, it's mine. He just doesn't know it yet.

Also, I'm planning on going to Anthropologie later so I can use my gift cards! Thanks to those who advised me to go on a Tuesday to check out their new mark-downs. You bet I'll be tweeting what I come home with tonight...

  1. Ok. I'm confused. What's a g-line?

And you look fantastic, but that's a given.

ps. Don't be hating on JC Penney!! I love that they carry MNG now. Was so sad when that store closed down.

  2. This is a really cute outfit! It made me look a men's clothes differently now.

  3. 'G-line' is her garment line (garments are what LDS (Mormon) underwear is called). :)

  4. You deserve to splurge on yourself every once in a while - and today is the perfect day to go to Anthro, as it is sale day and they have a super-big tag sale that started today with an addtl 25% off!

  8. I understand why you love playing with your hair. Me too... and that's why I always wear it in a ponytail. Otherwise it gets really greasy and flat. Ugh.

  9. Haha Sorry about the g-line. Very clever! For a minute i had to think about what you were talking about then i was like ohhh now i get it! You rock mens wear!! and I want those shoes!!

  10. You pull off men's clothes so well. I would never have guessed. Also, I love your pants. I was contemplating getting some black jeans after work today. But then I thought "no it's almost Christmas, I shouldn't be spending money on myself" but then once I saw your blog, I will now for sure be going to get some after work. Ah you're so bad, but so good for me.

  14. Menswear is clearly the thing. A 3 page feature where the reporter wore menswear for a week and now you. And you look so great. Would have to be a boys range for me (although I do have a couple of skinny men's tees).

    ReplyDelete
  15. PS The boys thing is because I am short and menswear is too long for me. Just to clarify.

  16. Man, those HUGE F21s are a pain! I walk in and don't come back out until several hours later and I still leave feeling like I didn't get look at everything!! I could live in one of those...but then I'd never see the sunshine.

  17. I giggled so hard when I read "G-line." And I'm totally coveting your shoes. I need some fuchsia heels, stat!

  18. Love the combo of leopard print and that hot pink color.

    ReplyDelete
  19. G line. Love it, love it. Totally guilty of that at times... you can wear the full-length ones with pants and you don't get it, I think.

Love the print with the pink!

    ReplyDelete
  20. I love the pop of color with the pink! You are looking great, as usual :)

    ReplyDelete
  21. I love how the shoes and the scarf make this outfit pop! And I definitely need to raid my boyfriend's closet now.

    ReplyDelete
  22. As long as the pink pumps weren't Chase's to begin with... it's all good. ;)

    ReplyDelete
  23. Haha, *gasp* you used your own money!!! ;) Well its good to do that once in a while, but it is more fun to use gift cards and things, haha :)

  27. Gorgeous look, I love the pop of color from the heels! It's awesome you can steal away your hubbies items! Mine is quite a bit bigger than me, I think I would drown in his stuff! =/

    ReplyDelete
  28. You're lucky you can wear your husband's stuff! Mine is too tall, and I'm proportioned badly for menswear anyway.

    ReplyDelete
  29. I can hardly wait to see what you've bought...

    ReplyDelete
  30. There is currently a huge sale at Anthropologie so your gift card should go further. I can't wait to see what you pick out!

Also, men's clothing almost always looks better on women. It's part of being the "fair" sex, I think. ;)

  31. Very cute! I know guys clothes are awesome! LOL!
My gosh, your such a California girl!LOL! Capris with a sweater? Really?! *Sigh* Don't mind me, I'm only jealous!
