I tried to make a video for you guys but my memory card sucks and I suck at explaining things. Here are a bajillion stills instead.

This is what my hair looks like when I don't do anything to it.

I use this straightener.
lds fashion blog mormon fashion blog clothed much a modest fashion blog clothedmuch california mormon blogger lds blogger mormon fashion blogger lds fashion blogger lds modesty mormon modesty blog style blog modest outfit modest outfits modest clothes modest clothing
First, get some hair.
lds fashion blog mormon fashion blog clothed much a modest fashion blog clothedmuch california mormon blogger lds blogger mormon fashion blogger lds fashion blogger lds modesty mormon modesty blog style blog modest outfit modest outfits modest clothes modest clothing
Then ready your straightener.
lds fashion blog mormon fashion blog clothed much a modest fashion blog clothedmuch california mormon blogger lds blogger mormon fashion blogger lds fashion blogger lds modesty mormon modesty blog style blog modest outfit modest outfits modest clothes modest clothing
Instead of straightening your hair, you're going to turn it inwards so your hair makes a U-shape with the straightener.

Then slide the straightener down.

Do it over...

and over...

  4. My hair is naturally curly as in Goldilocks-curly so if I wanted it to be just wavy then I will straighten it first then do this. Good thing for you, you have a nice straight hair :-) I'm envious hehe. Love these pics btw so it's okay if it's not a video.

  13. This is a great tutorial! Sometimes I try to use my straightener for waves when I only want to bring one heating tool with me on travel. I need more practice though, you've got it down right!

I love your blog!!! I signed up for the shopstyle, but am having trouble getting it figured out. Can you do a post on using it?

  14. So Cute! I naturally wavy hair already, but i love doing this the day after I've straightened it to jazz it up again! A few tips I've learned learned over the years are...
    1. Take 1/2- 1 1/2in sections from from the bottom and work your way up.
    2. Always use a thermal protection spray(Kenra has 2 awesome ones) on each layer.this will help the wave stay in better if you have super fine hair as well as protecting your hair.
    3. After you're done, scrunch your hair with a light hairspray or texture spray. You will get more of a beachy look that way : ) Hope i didn't ramble too much!

  19. your hair looks really nice. love it. I already have the etremely curly hair. I just learned that it can be a good thing. And up-do looks good without doing anything.

  20. Do you curl the under-layers also? I couldn't tell if you just did the top or not. Because I want my hair to APPEAR longer sometimes I straghten the entire thing (naturally not-cute curly hair) then only curl the top layers. I am on a mission to grow mine out.

  21. Hey Kally! I do but half-heartedly so they usually get curled at the ends.

  22. Honestly, before and after both look great.

  29. Cool! I had wondered about that and how long it took to get it wavy. Do you put any product in your hair to help make the waves stay?

  32. I will absolutely be trying this tomorrow. Thanks so much for the tutorial -- this seems a lot easier than having to use my ancient curling iron.

  34. The idea is really when you get to Gucci Watches like a tourbillon reason loses a lot of meaning. Art is what makes sense and here Alain Silberstein is having fun (like he always does). Not everyone is a fan of his aesthetic -Armani watches that is OK. I believe design aesthetics Cheap BMW Watches such as his are meant to be polarizing. In the Black Storm watch is a manually wound tourbillon based movement Cheap Rolex Watches that I believe are exclusive to his pieces. He doesn't make the movements, but no one else has them.
