KUTE Clothes

You guys already know I don't like the word cute.. But if you use a "k" instead of a "c", that is a different story. The KUTE aesthetic is about being a lady first. A modern, courageous, smart, hip, cool lady, but a lady nonetheless. {source}

So...are you KUTE? I like to think I am. I don't know about the courageous part...or hip part. But I'm totally cool.

Well, anyone would be kute in this sepia cargo jacket. It's my favorite item from KUTE Clothes. It's not all "Look at me! I like to pretend to be in the military so I can fit in." but the details are subtle and simple so you can still wear it after the military trend is long gone.

I'd wear this with leggings, an oversized sweater, and boots for a quick and comfy outfit. What would you wear it with?

Cool jacket! I would wear it with skinny jeans and red pumps, or over a lace dress and black tights with Frye boots!

Louise, oooh.... I like the idea of wearing it with something feminine like a lace dress or pumps!

I'd wear it with a tee and gold/tan/brown (multi-color) sequin skirt. Or with the Kute Nikita jumpsuit. Or with a tank and boyfriend sweats. Or in the spring with a day dress....
Great detail in the back.

I love this jacket so much! It's so awesome! I have a brown midcalf skirt with just a bit of flair that I think would look awesome with this jacket. I also have a pair of brown leather boots with a heel that would look amazing with this jacket. Maybe a white blouse or light sweater under the jacket?

Then again I also have a pair of brown trousers that might look good...

So many options... I just really like the jacket!

That's a nice jacket but I am not sure if it is thick enough for NY's winter.

I definitely like that jacket. Like you said it's not SO military. I tend to shy away from trends because by the time I cave and buy the latest trend it's out of style LOL. I also like that it's fitted and slightly more feminine.

This jacket is modest and sweet. Looks like something you could wear with anything. Looks like your style, too - did they give it to you??

Elaine said...

Victoria, no, they didn't give it to me.

that's a great jacket! it would be great with jeans, or my go-to frilly white dress, to make it a little less girly. i like that it has the laid-back vibe without being too over-the-top trendy. ~joelle

I like this military esque jacket. I'd pair it with something feminine like a skirt or a lace dress to add some edge. Black tights and wedges. Voila!

I have to have this jacket! The great thing is that you could dress it up or down. I would wear it with leggins and knee high brown boots that are sitting in my closet just waiting for a jacket like this.

I would wear it with a tunic shirt and skinny jeans with either booties or tie up boots depending on my mood and if I want to keep it casual or not. It would look great with a feminine dress underneath too!
