Twisty Belt Tutorial Video
My first video. It took me like five tries to stop mumbling and to remember to talk slowly. If you still need help, I'll come over and twisty belt it for you every day. I'll give you the outfit details tomorrow (today). P.S. Told you this was easy. Didn't I? I don't remember.

You're so cute! Well... I have to disagree about the similarity with Michell Phan. Michelle sounds a little too soft, girly, and annoying lol. I love her tutorials, though! You have a good balance to your voice! :)
I can't do the twisty belt too often because a lot of my belts are too hard and rigid. Good tip though! I need to get thinner, twistable belts!

Cute! I think I already do something similar (usually because my belts are too big!), but I use the belt holes. Your technique probably works better, so I'll be sure to try it!
AWESOME! I was totally trying to do this the other day because I got a chambray tunic that came with a very similar belt, but I failed miserably haha. This is great!

How cute are you?!?!? Isn't it funny how the simplest things to some people are complicated for others? As a stylist, I hear all the time from people "Oh, I would have never thought of that!" And I don't know how many times I have to show people how to tie a belt or scarf or something! Makes me feel useful. :)

Gosh, I don't like parroting what everyone else says, but you have a wonderful voice! As you tied the belt I couldn't help but think of my ties--if I stop to think about how to tie them, I can't. I have to just grab the tie and do it, so I was impressed you could do the belt thing while explaining it. =)

Thank you ever so much for the tutorial! I really adore the style, but I never thought to try it myself. It's a testament to what a good teacher you are that I got it on my first try, and the video is super sweet. I'll most definitely have to try it on an actual outfit (rather than over my gym shirt...) asap! Oh, and as a side note, I was really surprised at how well it held! I thought it would "unravel" the second I moved my hand, but it held fast! Awesome.

I did not read through all of the comments, so I don't know if this has been posted yet, but some retailer has a belt made just like this. The twisty part is already built into the belt and you just buckle it on. I saw it on another fashion blog. I was thinking you're genius either way - you did a DIY of theirs OR they took your idea and mass produced it. What say you?
