Grayday

I don't usually wear like-colors together but I really wanted to wear my new gray jacket from Edelweiss by Sarah. I was afraid it would be made of some cheap fleece material like this jacket but it's actually really well-made from wool. It's also dry-clean only...which means I'm NEVER washing this jacket.

I like this outfit in theory but I don't know if I like it on me. Maybe if I were 3" taller and had longer legs. Oh, well... At least Chase thinks I'm hot.

I bought this pink necklace because it reminded me of the Anthropologie and F21 necklaces but it came beaded in a strip of pink jersey fabric. Yeah, it was as ugly as it sounds. I bought another cheap necklace and used the metal chain instead of the jersey. Now I can wear it in public.

  24. You know more about clothes and fashion than I do, so I was wondering- do you know of any great resources for figuring out how to dress to flatter one's figure?

  26. I like the look! Love the rework on the necklace & I swear, longer legs are just a myth. It's all in the camera angles. :)

  32. Hahah I am so the same way when it comes to dry cleaning things. I always groan when something is dry clean only. I either don't wash it, or just wash it on gentle and let it air dry, depending on how much I love the piece. A new follower.

  33. Sweet jacket, I really love that necklace. I can't bring myself to buy any jewelry almost ever, I can't find one that is worth the investment. (Always too expensive IMO)

Also, I really do like your header! I don't think I can insert one for my theme right now or else I'd try to make one too!

  34. Great as usually :)
p.s. your legs are fine :) I wish i wasnt as tall as I am sometimes :) Especially when now I live in asia and people around me are so NOT tall :)

  35. Personally, I love the outfit. The jacket has an unusual and interesting cut and your legs look super long (I'm certain you don't need that extra 3 inches). :-)

  36. I love the pop of color from the necklace! That jacket looks so comfy.

  37. Lovely sweater...would be better in actual sunlight so I could see it well but...lovely silhouette?

And I do agree with you, I think this outfit would look even better with 3" heels--got any? XD

  38. I think you're hot ;)
Also, don't give up on the jacket! It looks great on you and I'm sure it's super comfy. It hits at a really great section of you legs to make them look model skinny. I know skinny isn't everything but it's a really great contrast to the coat.

  39. The backlit photos are very arty, but I wish there were closeups of the patterns and textures of the fabrics, and especially I'd love a better view of that necklace!
